We have moved into our house in Bulgaria and have not bought a dining table yet. We sit on the sofa and eat our meals at the moment. I will be buying a dining table soon as I think mealtimes are better sat at the table. How about you? Do you all sit down at the dining table to eat? Or do you have dinner in front of the tv?

i'm used to get meal in the dining room and at the dinning table. i have a television on dinning room too. so no need to go away from dining table to living room to watch television . but very often, while i drunk in any occasion and don't want to face my parents, i get my meal at bed room.

I can't stand having the TV on while I eat, I spend too much time at work, and it's always people talking, talking, talking...when I come home I want silence, cannot stand the tv! And yes I eat at the dinner table, and enjoy what I eat, without rush.

I sit down at the dining room table to eat. My wife and daughter rarely do. They take their plates into the living room, in front of the television. It is an odd way to do things, but we all accept it and everybody does what he or she wants.

I've always preferred to eat at the table, as it is better for your digestion and you do not consume as much food as you would in front of the t.v. However, my husband prefers to eat in front of the t.v., so I join him most of the time. Now that we have children though, we are trying to eat more at the table.
