In response to Congressman Emanuel Cleaver's time wasting bill, Concurrent Resolution 155, designating the day before Thanksgiving as the official “Complaint Free Wednesday”. While it may be a nice sentiment, I think congress has far better things to do with time and money, OUR TIME AND MONEY.
So, on that note... I have a counter campaign. I am decalaring this day as official "complain to congress day". It doesn't matter what party you belong to, or what you complain about. Maybe you didn't like a tie they wore in an interview, let them know about it. Email them, call them, write them. Complain till it hurts, then complain some more. Choke their phones, over load their email boxes and post boxes. Complian, complain, complain!
I have created a facebook group to both celebrate and spread the word about this campaign. Have fun and spread the word!

The nice thing about this day is that it's totally inclusive. All people, everywhere, have something to complain to Congress about. It's a day that could truly bring us all together in a unified disgust for our elected officials. Bravo!

Everyday should be a complain to Congress day, let's face it....there's so much to complain about!
Then that way their one day of 'no complaining' is just a breather for us all til we start up complaining again!

Well, technicly kinda sorta no in a sorta round about kinda fashion. you see tehchnicly, our congressional reps aren't suposed to take calls and such from people outside their specific district.....but I can dub myself dictator for a few seconds and declare you an honorary citizen of my state, in zip code 03584....

hmmmm. while coups can certainly be great fun (and if you are lucky you might be able to get the afternoon off work out of them, as happened to me once in s. america, sadly not the morning though) i think you need to brush up on organising them. i am not sure just declaring that you are now the new dictator actually works.
