How can you get Saved?

The only way that you can be saved is to first believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and then confess it with your mouth. Then you are saved and this can happen anywhere at anytime. The bible says that if you be ashamed of God here on earth, then he will be ashamed of you in heaven before his father. For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son and whosover believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. It is important to be saved because you are recognizing who you are serving and who your God is with an open confession. When you are saved you have to walk the walk of Jesus as well and be an example to others taking on the Christlike characteristics or Jesus.
