My son has brought some homework home that really needs your help, so PLEASE don't let him down.... I know you won't!! Fingers crossed!!
The question is about the months of the year and what they mean to you.
So please tell us what your favoutie month is and why or you can write about more than one month.... OR you can write a few lines on each of the 12 months.
So come on, get your thinking caps on and tell me what the months of the year mean to you and your thoughts on each month
Many thanks for your help

January: here it's cold and often snowy, I like snow as long as I am home and don't have to go to work.
February: a poor month, the spring crops haven't started yet and the winter crops are ending, it's the month I like the least, it's always a trouble to shop
March: yay, spring begins!! It's not yet warm, but most people just go out because they want to, but it's still cold, lol.
April: on some years we started going to the beach in april! Anyways, it's all spring and flowers, I love this month. Also time to start working in the yard.
May: time for low-season holidays, it's already warm enough to call it summer, but still there's nobody around beaches and mountains.
June: summer is here!! I love june, that's my fav month, the summer is not yet 'full' and it's warm, not too humid. Here I always get a week off.
July: time for holidays...but I usually work all of this month. :(
August: here I also get a week off work, but it's everything so expensive...that I don't go anywhere. Also the weather is so terribly hot and humid I just try to survive.
September: gosh, can't believe it's over...if the weather is good, it can still be time to go on holiday, but not always.
October: it's nice because it's not yet cold and there's a lot of markets and fairs in the towns around here
November: ugh...the foggy mornings and grey days, I don't like this month.
December: going to work when it's still dark, coming home when it's already dark, it's quite sad.

Glad to be of help :)
January -- I love the beginning of a new year and the hope that it will hold new and good things. And January snow is beautiful where I live. The red birds on the snowy bare branches are so pretty!
February -- This month is known to me for its shortness, and gets us closer to when springtime will begin. And I enjoy Valentine's day.
March -- The "windy" month, and the crocuses begin to bloom and we get days of thawing snow and little peeks of spring!
April -- The best thing is celebrating the birthday of my 2nd daughter, who I adore! The showers come that help the flowers grow, and I love all the spring-time flowers, such as tulips and daffodils that bloom in April. The spring birds come back and they sing differently than the winter birds. I'm always happy to hear them and the little frogs in ponds. The flowering trees bloom in April, too!
May -- I love may, since it was the month my Mom was born, and I surely love my mom. May is soft and warm and the new leaves come out on the trees. So pretty.
June -- This is the month roses bloom here and gardens begin to give us lettuce and radishes and peas. And this is the month when the strawberries get ripe.
July -- During July, I celebrate the birthday of my very first child, a daughter. I also love swimming and the hot sunshine, green grass, all the flower blooming everywhere, and celebrating the 4th of July...picnics and cookouts. Such fun! And the bluberries get ripe and are fun to pick from the bushes. Oh, and the fair comes to town.
August -- Called to dog days of summer here, very hot and sometimes dry, but still nice. We begin to get tiny peeks of autumn at the end of this month, and all the gardens are giving us food, lots of food.
September -- My birthday month! And the first frosts cover the grass sometimes, and the leaves begin to turn beautiful colors. And sweet corn is still ripe and so good to eat!
October -- My Dad's birthday month, and I remember when he was still with us and how much I love him and miss him. The trees get their brightest colors of all and then drop all the leaves. It's fun to rake them into piles and jump in them. I love carving pumpkins for Halloween and making bright bouquets of fall flowers like mums, gold and yellow and bronze and dark red.
November -- The birthday month of my youngest daughter, and also Thanksgiving month, so the two go together so well. I enjoy the big feast with family and friends, and remembering all the blessings God has given us.
December -- The first beautiful snows come, and of course, Christmas. So my thoughts turn to the beautiful lights, the remembering Jesus' birth, and the spirit of peace, goodwill, and giving to others.

The months...
January - a time for winding down from the holidays and a great time to re-establish relationships with your family. The nights are long and cold.
Time to stay in and talk, play games, listen to music and cuddle.
February - it is getting light longer, time to start planning for spring maybe a vacation.
March - I think it is the longest month. You know spring is around the corner but it almost seems colder than January.
April - Spring comes in for a tease. A warm day here and there, a great time to go out for a luck and watch for those bulbs to come up. Still cool enough to cuddle and hold hands. Warm enough to shut off the heat.
May - Spring is here and summer is around the corner. The sun feels warm and nice but I dread the coming summer. I hate the heat.
June -- can go either way, it can be enjoy or way to hot. I know that the pain of following school buses will soon end. And the pleasure of fresh fruits and vegetables will appear soon.
July & August. Ick too hot and humid. Wish my house was air conditioned. I count the day until September comes and look forward to autumn.
September -- can still be warm but the nights are nice and cool. Sleeping is better. Time to begin planning for the holidays.
October -- i love the colors and the pending holidays.
November - the holidays begin. We get ready to enjoy our families and friends.
December -- a time to plan new beginnings.

January: The beginning of a New Year. A time to make plans for what you want to do with the rest of the year.
February: Cold and snowy (or icy) here typically. Also the month of romance.
March: The beginning of spring. Also my least favorite month of the year because this is the month in which I lost my father.
April: The weather gets a little warmer. I celebrate my birthday. Spring break for my daughter. Get to spend more time outdoors.
May: Summer is really coming. Time to turn on the air conditioner. Swimming pools start to open. The flowers are blooming. Beautiful.
June: Summer has started. The kids are out of school. Vacation time.
July: Such a hot month of the year. We celebrate our independence and also my anniversary. Spend a lot of time in the pool.
August: Still very hot. School starts again. Love to go out and visit the ice cream truck just once to feel like a kid again.
September: It's starting to cool off again. Love to go visit the orchard for the fresh self-picked apples and the season's first apple cider.
October: Time for a visit to the pumpkin patch and even a trip to the woods to see the splender of nature's changing beauty. My son's birthday is this month so it is something that I also look forward to.
November: As the weather really begins to cool off, I reflect on the things that I have to be thankful for in this year.
December: Christmas is coming there is no time to rest. Also celebrate daughter's birthday this month

Hi Anne
Here is my thoughts:
I have a couple of months that mean something special to me. The first is Feb. It of course is Valentine Day, but it is also birth of my deceased son. He would have been 8 years old this coming year.
The other month is Dec. Yes because of Christmas. I love the ideal of giving gifts out to my family and friends. I love seeing their faces when they open up their gifts. I always try to get special gifts for them.
I hope that I have been able to help out your son. Tell him when it comes to his thoughts to be creative.
Have a nice day and keep smiling.

My favorite month is November. It is the month of my birthday and most of my relatives' birthdays. Thanksgiving is also celebrated on this month. I usually become lazy and sleep alot during this time because of the cold weather, while eating chips and watching television. Aside from that, I am able to socialize with my family more.

For some reason my favorite month has always been July. Here in Seattle the weather is perfect in July, which is what makes way for everything else. Prime bbq season, the beach, lots of fireworks, vacations, CAMPING. Here I guess it just seems like the world waits for July.

My favorite month is April! Here in Michigan the old saying 'April showers bring May flowers' isn't really true. April marks the near end of a long cold winter and it's very common for many of the early spring flower such as tulips, daffodils, and such to bloom. I love the fresh rains that don't turn into ice or snow. It's also my birthday as well as 2 of my granddaughters.

Ah, some fun! Starting with January= that was when my grandma was born. February is cold, don't like it much. March is rainy and damp. April is the same. May is when we would begin planting in my region of the US. June it is getting good and warm and is usually when my daughter and I plan on going to a little tourist town in the mountain that we enjoy. July is the month of our independence celebration and the kids enjoy the fireworks and other festivities. August is sad because that when the heat is relavent and school starts. September is not really much of anything I can think of. October is my daughter's and grandson's birthdays and their favorite holiday of Halloween and the scarey stuff they enjoy so much. November is my birthday and I celebrate it as I can. Then December is my granddaughter's birthday and she will be 18 this year that is a big deal.

April would have to be one of my favorites since it is starting to warm up from winter and we can once again start enjoying outdoor activities that we have been without all winter. Everything begins to start blooming again and the boring becomes beautiful once again.

How about April?!
At work, career and work evaluations occur in Feb and April, so by the time April rolls around, the evaluation results have gone up to higher management. And by middle of the month, the merit increases are supposed to take effect.
Unfortunately, the recession hit this year so we did not get any increases.
