I'm sure that when God made Jesus born to our society years back, He would made him look like the people around Him. Right? What do you think He would looked like? Is He a white complexion or brown or dark? Does He have blue eyes with flowing hair? What do you think?

hhmm he made us in his own image so he must be multi coloured as there are blacks whites mixed races, differet looks chineese, pakistani, indian and western every culture has different characteristics. This is one reason why I am sceptical of an existance of god or a supreme being, as every culture worships a god but every god is different and looks totally different to other gods. Surely if there is one god then he would look the same for all cultures whether black or white or indian or chineese in looks etc etc

Skin color changes due to environmental adaptation. It's a long process so if he really made us on his own image, it doesn't mean he is multicolored.

also what about different faiths and nationalities have different images of god, the druids believe the supreme being is nature the plants and tree's and animals around us not believing in one supreme being. To give an example western faiths have the supreme being looking like a westerner so to speak, middle eastern faiths have him looking like their nationality, basically the image changes and the characteristics change depending on nationality and ethnic identity. Surely if there is one supreme being he would look the same across the world and also the holy books of each religion are totally different which one is true and which ones are false ?? even the bible has been re-written over and over again and everytime is re-written its changed slightly, so no-one knows what actually happened and what didnt and what has been exagerated.

A very good question full tank. Jesus is white, why because during the last century, almost half the world was ruled by the white man, so the white mans god cannot be a black or brown or colored. Seriously speaking, Since he was born in Arabia, or some where near it,he could have been fair skinned, since people in those ages did not go to a barber, he certainly would have had long hair.Regarding blue eyes, I have not seen any arab with a blue eyes.

Jesus was dark skinned, in revelations it says he was the color of bronze and his hair was white as wool and his eyes were as fire (could be reddish brown?). In Isaiah 53 it says there was no outward beauty that people should adore him by his looks, it wasn't what he looked like that made people follow him but what he said, his voice of many rivers. No he didn't look anything like the catholic paintings you see places. You also have to remember he was a carpenter and in those days that meant you spent a lot of time working on houses and roofs. Anyone who knows someone who has worked in roofing would know they are dark after working a couple seasons and he did it most of his life.

Jesus was born in Jerusalem in Current day Palestine (As per Jews Israel's promised land!) in the Middle east of Asian continent. He must of the same color of palatine people 2000 years back. Prophet Mohammad had a spiritual Journey in that journey he met Jesus and many other prophet : Prophet Mohammad says: "...I also met Jesus - he was of medium height and of a red complexion, as if he had just come out of the bath." In description of second coming of Jesus:- "He will come again, and when you see him, you will recognize him. He is of medium height and his colouring is reddish-white. He will be wearing two garments, and his hair will look wet...."

When I was little and we were shown pictures Jesus was always portrayed as fair haired and blue eyed. It was only as I got older that I realised that someone born in the Middle East with their family stretching back generations in that region is unlikely to look like a member of the Swedish Royal Family.

Well it really doesnt matter but he obviously would of looked like an arab or a jewish person ( more orthadox looking) because of where he was born and who he was born to. Some arabs and jews can be very fair skinned and have blue eyes but he features i'm almost certain would of been arab or jewish.

Hi Fulltank, Jesus was born in the middle East from parents who were also born and grew up there. As you say,he would have looked like the other people of that part of the world. All paintings of Jesus in the western world depicted him as white, at least up until the last century. This was because of the idea that many held of white supremacy. Such people could not conceive of the thought that the son of God could be anything but white. Blessings.

In terms of Jesus born as man here on Earth, I'm sure He looked like a Jewish, since He was born in Israel. Try searching for "jewish facial features" or something like that. One thing I observed is that they all have the same deep 'look' in their eyes that makes them look sincere and trustworthy. Maybe Jesus' are same, too.
