The last few years lots of film musicals have been made. It started with Moulin Rouge and continued with Chicago, the Producers, the Phantom of the Opera, Rent - and now Dreamgirls is coming with Beyoncé in the leading role! But a very comman oppinion is that it is unrealistic for people to start singing - so do you like the film musicals?

I love musicals. Yeah it may be a little unrealistic for people to break out into song but it is still entertaining.

It is! And appart from being funny, it also gives an added depths to the emotions, as you get the music as well! But sometimes it gets a bit silly, when it is on a film...

They are usually musicals from the stage that are filmed - like the famous musical The Phantom of the Opere: They make a movie but keep the music, so the actors are singing al through the film. Sometimes it works great, somtimes not so well...

Some musicals are really good when made into movies. The last one I saw was Rent and I'm wanting to go see it live now.

Nooo they are really boring allmost all. In the old times they were good but now the ones that are made are really bad.
