What happened to Metallica?

Hello everybody!
I was listening the Death Magnetic and my conclusion about it: that's ok.
Just a OK album.
Compared to the old albuns ( master of puppets for example)
they just lost a little of their "magic"
what you think? You think death magnetic is a good album? Metallica became one more mainstream band?
