2012 - The Movie of the Year?

i do think 2012 is a good movie.but I havent seen it.The thing is that its theme has been shown in many films.But its graphics is damn good.Watch and tell us the review.

i havent watched the movie.. since you highly recommend it, i am intrigued of watching it.. as far as movies are concerned, i think all movies deserve a chance of being criticized.. i mean that in a good way.. there are a lot of good movies that seldom get neglected coz they are showing the same time with other well known movies that everyone else wants to see.. :)

Yes, I agree with you that 2012 is a good movie. It shows different emotions that can happen when the end of the world comes. They are people who are greed and some remain to be compassion. It can be movie of the year but I also like Transformer to be on the list. Happy myloting.

"2012" is the best movie in the category of special effects. The movie has jaw dropping special effects as you will feel as though you are riding a roller coaster rather than sitting in the theater. Apart from that, the storyline is good, as it was in "Independence Day" and "Day After Tomorrow"(from the same director). The acting isn't up to the mark and will get low scores because of it. Take away the acting and few other bad points of the movie it will be one best from the director, who is know for his "End of the World" genre of movies. But we still can't rate this movie as the best one of the year this soon as there are many other movies on the line and it will face stiff competition from "District 9"(for its brand new story and excellent acting) and other movies.

I haven't watched the movie yet. I would like to soon though. From friends that have watched the movie, they think that the money they spent was worth watching the special effects. However, the story line is way too predictable and the special effects at times are too fake or they appear to be visibly computer generated. Sounds like a cliched apocalypse film.
