Do you already buy gift items for Christmas?

I have noticed people are already buying advanced items such as gifts for Christmas. It’s a fine way of distributing finances. I admire people who are like that since they’re anticipating things ahead of time. Are you that kind too?

I started my christmas shopping at the beginning of this month. I think its less of a shock to the bank balance to pick things up each week for a couple of monthes before christmas. I am almost finished my shopping now I just have a couple of items to order online to send family back home.

I always buy during the year for christmas, infact I was ready by end of october. Not sure why more people don't shop earlier in the year.

it's actually because of financial constraints.others just simply text messages to greet during the holidays. they extend that little gestures just to show they remember people during christmas even without gifts really.

I buy things as and when I see/can afford them throughout the year. I dont plan what I'm going to buy in advance. I have several wrapped already so I will have forgotten what they are by the time the recipient opens them... surprise for me as well as for them

wow that's great.it is indeed surprising for both of you. Celebrating the Christmas in a unique way and surprising the loved ones with fabulous gifts is what one desires. With the approaching of Christmas you might be making every attempt to find wonderful gifts and preserve the moments.

I have bought a couple things that I have found to be good deals. I will keep my eye open from October on. I like to save money so if I find a good gift on sale, I buy it, even if it is a little early.

Not yet because I still have no enough budget to buy for gifts. Maybe I will start my shopping for Christmas on the second week of December, right now I have already prepared a list for people whom I want to give gifts and eavesdropping what they want this Christmas.hehehhee

well we can always ask people what they want to have this Christmas. When thinking of what to give to special people, think outside the box and create something that you put your heart into.Unique Christmas gifts are easy to choose. All that are needed are creativity and a little knowledge about the receiver.

Hi, flagella08. I have not bought any gifts for Christmas yet. If I do get any gifts it will be at the last week in December. A couple of days before Christmas that is. If I had the money like that, i would buy ahead of time. I am the type of person that likes to be on time with many things. Buying earlier means I won't have to rush as much.

I don't usually buy gifts but my sister does last Sunday. She bought gifts for us and to our godsons and goddaughters. Usually if you buy gifts earlier you can save money because the items is much cheaper compare when you buy this coming December.

I do buy christmas gift in advance if i have a budget ahead of it. I make sure to buy gifts for kids, for my kids, and for my kids friends because children are the ones who are very happy in receiving gifts during christmas times no matter how small it is...

I don't buy all year round for one reason - what people want changes. At the beginning of the year they might want a certain cd, right? So you buy it, on sale, and wait for Christmas. But by the end of the year they might have already gotten the cd as a birthday gift, or already bought it themselves. And then you have a cd that you may not be able to get rid of. I usually wait until November to start buying Christmas gifts, though I look all year round. I usually make a list of things I see that I think my loved ones would like, and if they still show interest towards the end of the year I buy it then. I do save some money here and there all year round though, so that I'm not overwhelmed at the end of the year.

I am doing that in longer time before Christmas. When you have more time to think what concrete people need more. I don't want to be in flow when all run to shops and in a little panic search presents.
