I recently signed up for both. I want to do both, maybe do 1-3 articles in both a day. I'm kind of a beginner so I know I might not get that much right away,I'm not used to writing 400 word articles. But I'm gonna take english and reading class next term,to get better at writing and I also want to take writing classes but first got to knock off the prerequisites. But any way.
How much does each site pay on average per view,I think it's paid per view,so about how much does it pay per view and does it get paid if people rate it high.
Is there a minimal payout? Can I get payment to paypal and/or check?

Helium will accept articles from non US countries but will later close and they won't pay you. So, beware. AC is ok, the minimum payment there is $1.5 direct to your paypal every 2nd Wednesday of the month. It's a good site. There are still other writing sites that have paid me better. Check my profile.

Are you saying that if you live anywhere other then the US that your account will be closed without payment? Or do you mean they will do so if you are from a non-English speaking country?
I am from the UK and I have opened an account, wrote a few articles and have money in my account. I don't want to lose any money and I want to continue writing on there as I reall enjoy.

For AC, it is $1.50 for 1000 page views. And this can be achieved easily if you make friends there and also having outside traffic to read your articles. Don't forget to read and comment others articles as well. I'm not so sure about Helium, but you have got to retain your rating stars in order for your residual income to be active. How many rating stars; I'm not so sure. An expert Helium user might be able to answer this for you. I'm on AC most of the time, and even if I don't update articles, I'll read friends' work.

Alot depends upon the popularity of what you write. If no one searches for the topic then you do not get views and then you do not earn money.

Hi there, you are lucky because you are u.s resident. For u.s resident you can get up-front payment. That's mean you will get pay as soon your article is accepted.Up-front payment around 3 - 6 dollars. And you also can get performance bonus. if your articles read by 1000 viewers you got 1.50 dollars.Thats payment for accontent article. For helium i'm not sure.Good luck

Start off writing for Associated Content. The pay is low ($1.50 - for us beginners)but, it is not a scam. For, all the time Helium makes you read other peoples articles - it will wind-up costing you more than, you make(plus, I do believe they keep the rights to your article). Associated Content lets you make the decision on your copyrights. Once, you've become a master article writer(which, will take awhile)than and only than you will want to start writing for Constant Content. They paid much better you get to set your own prices(but, they are very critical of all their articles). Constant Content has a "3 strikes" rule -so you must be an expert at grammer and punctuation(they don't like commas).
Wish someone had told me that before, I tried writing for Constant Content(so, I'm letting you know). Wishing you the best!

Both are good writing sites. For AC, you can earn through Upfront and pageviews. Here you get$1.50 for 1000 pageviews. Fron Helium, you can earn through pageviews. How much you earn there depends on the topic and the channel. Some pay more, but some pay less. They both pay through paypal.

I recommend AC, keep writing 1-3 articles a day and you will be earnig good money very soon. Of course good content, keyword rich content. My ppm now is $2.00 and I get almost 40,000 page views every month, so I get $70 - $80 each month only from performance.

I think i can answer some questions about helium. You must have one rating star to get paid for your articles to be read. if you have one writing star you can start to get upfront earnings. the more stars you have the more upfront you can get. if you have five writing stars helium will pay you $2.5 per article. it's not bad.
so far it's my favorite writing site. I have 39 articles and have 3 writng stars. you can do better a lot than me i'm sure.

Both sites are really good sites, I actually a member of both of those. Associated Content depends on how many page reviews you get and how much you will get paid. I'm not sure how much you can get paid per an article there, but I believe its every 1000 reviews by other members and outside people that read your articles then you get paid 1.50. Another thing that they have is upfront payment, I believe if you write for these they'll make an offer and if you except you'll get paid right away. I've actually had this happen to me and I was offered 1.00 for an article and it was automatically put into my paypal account and it did not end there and I'm thinking that it goes based on how many people read that article that was an upfront payment, cause I got paid another 1.25. And this is only from Associated Content.
Now for helium, this one is a bit different. You have to get a star first at least one I believe to start earning and how you get a star, you have to get a pretty good rating on the articles that you write. Then also it depends on how many people review your article there as well. I have not yet reached payout for this one, but you have to keep at it. I'm pretty close though.
Another thing that I wanted to say about Associated Content is that, just continuously write articles, I also believe that will draw more readers to your articles.
