People all over the world uses internet, but there's one big question for all the cyberspace addict out there. When you open your computer and access through the internet, what is the first online social networking website you usually open? Facebook or Friendster? I asked some friends of mine 9 out of 10 answered facebook. But why is facebook so popular? So if here's the question. If the cyberspace industry allows only one online social networking website. What will you choose? Facebook or Friendster?

Facebook is way much better!
Why is it popular?
Although you don't get to customize your profile (unlike Friendster where you can express yourself with colors, backgrounds and animations), Facebook has much more fun features than Friendster.
For one, Facebook has a myriad of applications and addicting games. It also has a chat feature built-in to the platform of the page. Also, you are well connected to your friends, and you get to know what they're up to and what's the latest craze in your social circle.

I did not know about Friendster. I do access from home and will check it out. I love facebook though...I've got in contact with people I didn't even think possible once upon a time. So I've got to thank facebook for this.

I think it is popular because you can reconnect with people. Who hasn't wondered "whatever happened to..." well with facebook sometimes you can find out. I am located by somebody ony face book nearly every week. My choice is facebook.

I use facebook. I have heard of friendster but have never tried it. Maybe it is worth a shot, and I might check it out soon.

I have to go with facebook cause all of my friends are into it. It have better apps and it can pass information much faster. Aside from i can chat with my friends unlike in friendster. You can also check legitimate celebrities account and be friends with. I saw alot of my friendster friends deleting their account and transfer to facebook. It is definitely the hottest social networking site out there.

I'm a friendster fanatic before, but after experiencing technical error on their site, I stop uploading files. I don't have a facebook account but my wife did...facebook is popular but I'd rather earn while socializing like mylot did. You will spent so much time on both site but you will not earn. So the answer to your queston is...I'm not going to choose any of them. I will stick to mylot!lol!

I prefer Facebook. Although my friendster account is still active, I just open it to update profile and see friend updates too since not much of my friends in friendster are in facebook yet. Facebook applications are very engaging but the current news feed format is confusing and I really wish it will be back to its previous format.
