Thanksgiving

Here is my association between football and Thanksgiving. First it is a fall sport so it falls into the right time frame. Not many other sports are left during this time, baseball is over, NASCAR has finished, basketball hasn't really started good. Football is right in the middle of thier season. Next there always seems to be a game on Thanksgiving Day. My question is "Don't those players want to be with their families on Thanksgiving?" Finally, what is better after eating lots of turkey and stuffing than curling up on the couch turning on the game and taking a little nap?
