Is it worth to do it?

I dont know if anyone would believe in the spiritual world on earth. But being an asian we were brought up in our religion to believe in the spiritual and reincarnation. Have experienced before where I can feel and sense there is a presence but unable to see it. I understand there have been cases as well where people adopt a spiritual being in their lives to warn them of any dangers and also to protect the family properties. It could have been passed on or accepted it on own accord. The question is ..is it worth it to have such a thing to know in advance of what is going to happen to one's lives? I mean isn't it better that some things are better not to know than knowing. What does a person gain from doing so I wonder? What do you all think?
