Yes, it is true.
Human fat is valuable to certain cosmetic and chemical companies! It is worth so much, some will kill for it. Check out this link.

I say if it is worth so much, why don't they do liposuction for free?
What do you say?

I say we need to fatten up all the liberals and send them to Peru.
At least then they would serve some useful purpose.
Never mind doing liposuction for free... they should be paying for the privilege of doing that.

You are right. Additionally, you may have found a solution to the problem of unemployment. Anyone could eat fattening food to convert it to valuable human fat to be mined and sold via liposuction.

The companies/individuals who are buying this fat should just go straight to the plastic surgeons who literally have tons of human fat that needs to be disposed of each year. Especially since the fat was being sold to "companies in Europe" and Europe has a lot of plastic surgeons who could provide plenty of fat without any deaths occurring.

I strongly suspect you are right. Perhaps, even now plastic surgeons already do this. Who knows?

It makes me wonder if the women using these "European cosmetics" have any idea that they are smearing themselfs with the very substance that they are trying to get and keep out of their own body.
If they are aware, do they care about where it comes from?

Good grief, they'd make a fortune on me!!
That reminds me of the "old" movie, Soylent Green. Did you ever see it, with Charlton Heston? They were overpopulated and the people had very unique food to eat.
