Do you prefer to drink beverages with a straw?

I always do use a straw when drinking beverages... but for some reason... when i drink water from a bottle... i don't use a straw... i don't know why but that is how it has been eversince bottled water became popular...

For me, I prefer to drink beverages with a straw. In my eyes, it is a way to enjoy a better time through drinking beverages with a straw. Usually, I am busy with my work and have no spare time on having a rest. So, for me, to drink beverages is a way to have a rest and enjoy the enjoyable time. When I am ready to drink beverages, I tend to use the straw because I want to drink it slowly, which is a way to savor the true meaing of life with my heart. Happy myLotting!

No.I don't prefer drinking beverages especially hot, with straw.But I know a couple of friends who prefer that.I don't think it is effeminate, but I feel that drinking a beverage with a straw is not that enjoyable.Cold drinks can be drunk with a straw though.

Hello Bethany1202 this is checkmail and often do drink some breverages both cold and hot.In cold breverages prefer the soft drinks,caffe, shake ups, and in hot breverages caffe, flavioured milk, etc.Mostly i use a glass to drink these breverages, as its more easy and less time is taken, as well as the taast is also more.When was an child used to drink with the straw and later play with it, the pipe connection game.Well don't think anything of it at that time but now do think that they hadn't left their childish habbit of drinking.

For the most part, I would rather not have a straw in my beverage. My only exceptions are for fast food drinks. Straws are just easier to manage with those. The only beverage I can honestly say calls for me to have a straw is a milkshake.

I use straws when i drink cola from the cans. If i drank i would also use a straw. There isn't anything feminine about drinking with a straw guys. It is your preference.

I have sensitive teeth. So drinks with a straw make it easier. Especially with alot of ice. I love cold drinks. No I think if a guy uses a straw it's fine. Never have though anything of it.

Sometimes. It depends on the container it's in. If it's a flimsy fast food cup then yes cause the lid gives it a lil more strength. But if it's a glass & I'm at home then no straw..... plus they say that drinking thru a straw give you wrinkles around your mouth I don't care if my hubby drinks out of a straw. Sometimes he really has to with his occasional dental problems.

It really all depends on what I am drinking. I usually do not use a straw unless I am drinking from a cup with a lid on it. However, on the rare occasion that I have a mixed drink, I do like to sip it from a straw. Also, if I go out to eat at a restaurant, I will use a straw, but otherwise, I usually prefer to drink straight from the glass.

I don't ever use a straw at home altho i do have them here but when i go out i usually use one. Go figure? lol.

Well I don't use a straw to drink with and what I don't understand is when you go to the dentist and they tell you don't use a straw hello I always do that I don't and have never understood that.I hardly ever see men drinking mixed drinks with a straw.

Have you seen rats in warehouses? If not then you should try to go and look to see one. Why I said this? let me explain. Warehouses where beverages are stock have all sorts of pest in it (rats, mice, cockroaches, etc.). The come crawling in each boxes of our favorite stuffs to seek food. Many time they will pee, pooh and contaminate the can, bottles of our beverages. Many stores don't clean them before putting them in stalls and refs. If one drinks a contaminated stuff in can, they would soon consumed germs and viruses. Got the point? Now, straws are harmful too with our environment. But when one will ask me if I prefer straw or drink straight from the can. I think I would go for the straw.

I love using straws to drink out of. It allows me to control how much liquid I want going down my throat.. It is good to use straws when you are really thirsty or when you are drinking soda or anything that has high acid in it.. The straw keeps one from choking. My hubbie drinks out of McDonald's straw all of the time, when he eats from them.. He is 100% man.. Everyone just does not do the same... It does not mean that something is wrong... I think it looks sexy for a man to drink out of a straw, especially when he drinks nice and slow..
