how many kinds of vegetables do you have each day?

recently I always eat a Chinese local snack called "hot-hot-hot" for lunch. I can select whatever food materials I would like to and the cook will boil them and put them into a bowl of soup flavored by a perticular mixture of spicies. my selection always contains four or more kinds of vegetables and something else,such as quail eggs,bean curds and noodles. I like vegetables very much,even more than fresh fruits.I don't feel something wrong wihtout fruits for a month,but I cannot stand it without vegetables for one day.and that's why I am fond of "hot-hot-hot"---I can eat several kinds at the same time!it's wonderful! so do you like vegetables?how many kinds do you have each day?

Iove vegeatables & try to include as many as possible in my evening. Generally there would be four. It used to be mainly potatoes, carrots, peas and corn. Now that my husband & I have separated, I can eat a greaty variety of veges. For instance, mushrooms every day, capsicum, tomatoes, zucchini and one of my favourites, bok choy. Sometimes I have sald instead of veges, for instance letuuce & cucumber.

hi,fennybianca! I find you are a faithful vegetable lover.and it is obvious that a mix of various of vegetables is more nurishing than a single species.and that is why I also eat four kinds of vegetables at lunch. thank you for your response. have a nice day.

Hi CathyLee2009. Yes, I do like veggies. I love to eat anything that is nutritious. I love carrots and cucumbers.. I love to eat celery and tomatoes... I try to eat my veggies everyday.. I love them!

hi,cream97! thank you for your response. I like celery too.though it tastes a litte wierd,but I just love it.and when I learnd that celery could help decrease I love it much more than beford.yeah vegetables are very good for health. have a nice day!

i would eat more vegetables than i do if we had more money to buy food on a regular basis but things are so tight i have to make do with what we have on hand when there is no money for food shopping. i love vegetables and eat them whenever possible. i know how healthy they are and that is why i try to eat them whenever i can.

Hello CathyLee2009 this is checkmail and often do eat vegetable regularly in a week except on days of Non-veg meals, not entirely, salads included.Yeah basically one vegetable is enough for one time meal in a day, can have three to four vegtables in a day.Vegetables gives us the required nutrition and proteins for our wellbeing and health.Even like vegetables for their taste and varieties.Normally a complete standard vegetable meals is of five vegetables in it, cool right.

hi CathyLee^^;; we have here what we called "Chop-suey", it's like "chop and mix" which is i think also from a Chinese dish. this dish usually contains broccoli/cauliflower, carrots, beans, cabbage of any variety, chayote, bell pepper, button or shitake mushroom. ofcourse, i wouldn't always cook this but i have other veggies like lettuce, cucumber and spinach. i try to eat vegetables in a day but fruits could also be a good substitute for me

maybe there are ten kinds vegetables,such as radish,cuke,....... i love these vegetables that they can let me more healthy it's my answser.if you can give me the best response,i will always response you ,coz i never get it ,i am sad....

I have 2 different ones every Day as I to like my Vegetables very much Vegetables are very good and I have to admit I like fruit but like you I prefer my Vegetables to Fruit

Hi CathyLee, as far as I know it's quite good for our health if taking at least 3 different types of vegetables daily. Yeah, different types of vegetable provide different nutrition. There are rich in fiber. Eating more types of vegetable could help to promote the bowel movement. So it's nice for people who suffer from constipation to take more types of vegetable daily We, Asian people take rice as our two main meals daily. We usually take some dishes together with white rice. We will prepare at least 3 types of different vegetables for each meal. This means that we will take 6 types or so of different vegetables daily. Besides we do take different fruits daily. This is how we try to maintain our health of our body Take care and happy posting

I don't actually count. But usually two or 3. I know it's not enough. But it balances out with fruit.

I love vegetables, too. The vegetable I often eat include carrot, cucumber, cabbage,onion, etc. I like vegetables the most when the weather is quite dry in Winter. It makes me feel healthy.
