How many people find themselves holding back or not expressing themselves as much as they want to because of the people they have be-friended on facebook?

I think that you can say what's on your mind but you need to phrase things in such a way as to present your opinions without attacking another person for theirs. Everyone is entitled to an opinion - if you want good discussion you need opposing opinions. Some folks attack the person instead of the opinion. I see it get most out of hand on those topics like politics. I have very strong opinions in that arena and have to remind myself that their is a person on the end of that opinion that has a right to voice it just like I do. Sometimes I do well, sometimes not so much as I try to win them over to my way of thinking. :)

Very true, everyone has entitled to their opinion and everyone should be heard no matter how much we may disagree with it. Nice post.
