Excess orders in restaurants, fast foods and other dinning outlets are a common thing for all of us. We ordered more than we can actually consumed. Do you let the waiters bagged the excess foods and bring it home or you let it end up on the table to be thrown on garbage by the waiters?

It depends on what it is that are left over. I will usually take home what we call a doggie bag because the kids will almost always have extra left over and then after a few hours of being home they are hungry again so I will just give them their leftovers. If they don't eat it then we do have a dog that really doesn't mind having the goodies left in the doggie bag. If there isn't that much left I will just leave it on the table to be thrown out by the waiters.

I usually bring it home, because leftovers, specially from restaurants, make for good lunches at work the following day. It also bodes well for the restaurant if they see that customers think that their food is good enough to take out.
But if it doesn't taste good, I would just say no when the waiter asks if we want to bring the leftover. I think that's enough indication to say that the food wasn't good enough. And of course, we don't come back.
