The first test between india and Srilanka is over and it has ended in a tame draw. The indians after a disastrous start were able to consolidate thanks to dravid and Co and managed to score 426 in the first innings, a very good first innings score. In reply SriLanka started off with a typical Dilshan century followed by the heroics of two jayawardanes's Mahela, who scored massive 275 and Prasanna who went on to score 150 plus. SriLanka ended up with 760/7 with a massive 300+run lead which closed the oppurtunity for an indian win. India batted out 5 sessions and managed to save the test, thanks to brilliant hundred from Gauti and sachin
