A funeral that turns into a family and friends reunion!

Hello friends and dear mylotters, Here in our country,this is a very common scene or practice that,if someone died in a family,the funeral turns out to be like a family and friends reunion. Relatives from distant land travel to comfort the bereaved family,but,it doesn't sounds like that.(thu it is comforting to know that they travel and spend their time,money and effort to express their condolences) I am not against this practice,but sad to think that,someone needs to be dead for the family and relatives to be gathered in one place and see each other. Well,who among us here had this same practice or experienced same situation? Do share your opinion and comments dear friends and mylotters
