Thanksgiving is almost here and Christmas is right around the corner! Do you have a favorite holiday food or beverage. I love eggnog, even if it's out of the carton. I also like amaretto cake. What food are you looking forward to in the coming weeks?

For Thanksgiving I love to eat turkey, stuffing and yam casserole. For dessert I have to have fudge and a piece of Pumpkin Pie. In the past we have always gone to his cousin's house, but I am not sure if we will be this year. If not, I will be making a turkey which makes me a little bit nervous because I have never cooked a turkey before. I think I will probably end up calling the Butterball company and ask questions. I will be making stuffing as well as mashed potatoes and the green bean casserole. I will be making Pumpkin Pie for dessert. For Christmas I will be making a ham. I will make my fudge and cookies as well. I am not sure if I will make a pie for dessert. Usually the cookies and fudge are enough for dessert. I will probably drink Hot Apple Cider as well as Hot Chocolate.

Sounds like you will be busy cooking! Don't fret about the turkey. I am not a cook and I was in charge of the turkey last year and it turned out fine. If I can do it, you will surley be okay. Have a great holiday!

I love cooking, especially baking. I make a lot of home made gifts this time of the year. I bought a 4.50 pound turkey and I am hoping it is not that hard to make. If anyone knows how long to cook the turkey please let me know. I would appreciate it very much. Thank you.
