I heard many bad news about people applied for credit counseling for help. Instead of helping those alredy in - debt, those credit counseling provider further rip them off with big sum of cost and not helping them at all. Most people would like to go through DMP package, the debt - management - plan provided by the counselors. I just wonder is there any reliable credit counseling service you know of and can be find online?

Clorissa my dear, these companies do no more than what you are perfectly capable of doing yourself once you head is out of the sand and you decide to take control of your debts. They don't do anything amazing at all but prey on people like you by charging you. All you need to do is face each creditor yourself prioritising paying off first the ones which are essential bills and then the ones which are charging you the most interest. Research on line will give you all the information to do it yourself.

Well, here is the situation. A Bank is threatened to sue me in court if I don't pay that debt immediately. After I talk to its collector to solve this problem. I proposed to pay the bank $100 more each month, until next February, when I come up enough money to pay it all at once. The collector seems uninterest to talk to me with this proposal, and the bank won't accept this offer. The only way I can go is ask a Credit counselor for help.

this is the service I am registering to now, but they still charge me some fees for the process, which I found it a little bit skeptical. I hope that they can help me with a great deal with the trouble I am going through right now.
