When I opened my e-mail a while ago, I just got this wonderful e-mail from a very nice Nigerian man telling me that I won one million dollars. He said to forward him my bank account and other personal information and should have my money in that account within 24 hrs. Damn, I would spend half of it buying you all fellas a drink and give each one 10 bucks a piece. So congratulate me! LOL Did you receive the same e-mail too?

Congratulations but I wouldnt take that to seriuosly because I have also won millions of dollars too but so far I havent collected a cent because I guess I didnt send the small amount that is required for the transfer. You see I AM WILLING TO BET THAT the next stage is where hey ask you to send a small transfer fee and believe me if you send them the money ,that is the last time you will hear frome them adn likewise if you dont .You see they are playing up on the need and greed of many people and the fact that so little is required makes many people willing to send their hard earned cash .However I am thinking that if I win so much money why dont you take the fee from it and send me the rest .There are two warning signs to look for with these scammers, most of them are from nigeria or one of the these African countries or from Europe and secondly the transfer fee you have to pay before you have collected any money .

How does anyone think that somebody will fall for this trick. There must be some really dumb people out there who will or else why would this guy even try. You should forward him that you would like to give him half the winnings, so he should also send you his bank account information and once you receive it and verify that there is money in it, you will send him yours. I wonder if he would even respond back.

It amazes me at how dumb those scammers think people are. Everyone knows that something that great doesn't happen out of nowhere, and if you ever do randomly win $1,000,000 you're definitely going to find out in a big way, not through an e-mail coming from some guy you've never spoken to/knows asking for your bank account information!! I never received an e-mail like that, but if I were you I'd play along and write back something that said "Really??? How did I win that amount of money if I didn't apply anywhere? Anyway, here's my bank information," and then add a fake name as well as a fake account number, that way the scammer will think he actually fooled someone, only to be made a fool!

Yes I have recieved it just two days before.. Remember these words: "yahoo-msn lottery" " Its a secret dont reveal it to anyone" " You have been selected from random selection of all mail users" "lotterry no." etc., It is a scam dont believe it.. In our area a man was even murdered by these Nigerians.. Dont open those mails . It may even contain harmful viruses.

i get these all the time. with slight variations on the info and the amount and how to go about getting it. really quite annoying. but sometimes i like to have a laugh reading the names of these people. i'm sure some of them are 'real' names, but others just sound so fake, you can't help but snicker. my favorite one is dr. pissa abubaka .... i wonder if this one is a real name :)

Dont ever dare give your trust to that e-mail or you might be disappointed. There are no guarantee that you really won 1M bucks when they are asking for your bank account. Dont give any details to them. My advice is just ignore them.

Yes, I have received several of these emails and was instructed by several friends, family members and even the news not to ever give any personal information to these people because it is a scam. I am sure you already know this, but in case you don't, now you do.
