Whether all the things mentioned in the Bible are historically and monumentally correct is not important. The most important is it's theme. The theme is the 'Word of God' . By 'Word of God' I mean is God's promise to humanity as John spoke at 1:1. "In the beginning God gave His word, He kept his word and he came to abide amongst us in flesh."

The Bible is real and so is the book 1984. i don't really know what to do. I don't really care. My therapist didn't care that i was hallucinating. no one car'es if your crazy. crazyness is the mercy of god.
love god and you will love your craziness.
but you have to accept the difficult challenge of "big brother" fears, and if you have ever gone to a really weird place where people talk about this you don't like it. i didn't i don't. i don't believe in people. but now i work for god.
but oh, he will shut me down soon and there will be voices and negative engery. have you experienced negative energy? if you are paranoid then you will.
light is a neat thing. it makes you see things. but it also makes you see evil. and you have to integrate it.
paranoia is a real thing.
but so is rebellion. now i sound like a professional talking to the center. it's prbably just a stage. i wonder how many others know. there's probably a certain way...

Obviously most of the old testament is pure fiction, as for the new testament there are many historical references to actual facts, but that doesn't make it historically true, i guess it all depends on what you believe, there is no objective answer to this question.
