Can I get pregnant after having a tear in my appendix?

I had a tear in my appendix and some of the poison leaked out before I had it removed. I read online some where that when the appendix has torn, it may sterilize a female. Is that true?

Appendix are work as similar as our house's electric circuit fuse.It's will broken and disconnect when the high current flow or short-circuit.Therefore, if we noticed our appendix was torn,means the toxic level of our body are higher than standard limit.
