Well, my week-end plans have already been fulfilled.
I was planning in taking a large electric heater to my parents' house by train, which I did, and it was a small adventure, considering I had to carry it in my arms until I got to the train station... Anyway, I did it and I'm very happy on my accomplishment.
The other thing I wanted to do was go vote. Today, the people of Romania are invited to choose their president, and also to express their opinion about modifying the Constitution. There are 2 questions for the people to respond: if they want the number of Parliament members reduced from over 400 to less than 300, and if they want to give up on a Parliament with 2 chambers, and stick to a one-chamber Parliament. I went to vote about 2 hours ago, and I'm waiting for the first results tonight.
I've seen Man Utd win against Everton last night, and I'm thinking about watching Juventus play against Udinese this evening.

Not a bad idea to cut some of the places form underneath some fat buts sucking on the country's budget, but this all referendum is a pathetic move from the present president - all the posters and banners supporting the referendum and calling the people to it have his image, and the referendum is attributed to him, as a good initiative that will surely get him some extra votes...

Today my husband and I went to a village to sell some of our magazines from the Danish lung association. We walked around from door to door. Some people didn't open the door, and some weren't interested, but we managed to sell 16 magazines. In the evening we went to a birthday party. My sister-in-law turns 33 in a few days, and my mother-in-law had cooked a nice dinner and made a birthday cake. It was very delicious
Tomorrow my husband and I are going to sell some more magazines, and we plan on driving to the northern part of the island where we live. We want to visit some of the villages there, and I hope that we will manage to sell 20 0r 30 magazines. That should be possible if we start around lunchtime.

A magazine costs 25 Kr. Every time we sell a magazine we keep 5 kr (about a dollar) and the rest of the money we give to the Danish lung association. We have sold about 600 magazines so far, and I hope that we will manage to sell 1000 magazines before December 15th.

I don't have any plans for this weekend, and rarely do for any others. It's really sad. I have a pretty pathetic life, as you can clearly tell. I think if my boyfriend would take me out... but he doesn't. I love you, MyLot, for letting me vent out to you!
