How do you like your relationship; Practical or a true loving emotional one ?

Oh i had a crush on a girl and fell in love with her deeply , was very honest too..
But things didnt work out , she was all practical and disliked my loving attitude as far as i think. We broke up ugly and from then on i as well go for practical ones as i havent met a girl of one-man woman sort.
What about you which type of relation are you in and which would you prefer to have.

Although I prefer a true loving emotional one, my choice is the practical one.
Living in such a so-called society, it is unrealistic to choose the relationship with a true loving emotional one. You see, as the tempo of life has accelerated, people's attituce to life has changed a lot. Most people don't believe the true love and tend to become more practical, which is the trend of the society.
Compared with a true loving emotional one,the practical one may can last long.

You have the point here and i agree as well. But being practical all the time feels like cheating my ownself . See it this way ,
practical relations last longer than emotional ones but
its better to have a happy and a bit short relation rather than a long and cold relation.

i think a combo of both is needed for any permenant thing. you need to attached to the person emotionaly, but able to seperate your emotions from situations in order to find solutions and compromises. also love is a choice. you need to wake up everyday and choose love. then find practical ways of expressing that love. and you cant just be all emotion driven or youll blind yourself to the truth in some situations. your feelings will get hurt and all practical sence... gone! so im going with a very good balance of the two.

i dont know about being lucky, but i like to make the best out of every situation. its this belief of mine that get me into alot of trouble in relationships. people tend to be one or the other, makes it frustrating trying to relate my logic to there way. but i shall remain in the middle on this one :-D

Thats great to hear as i didnt found of such sort here but beware my friend as it can hurt you badly if you fall in love deeply !
Anyways i am still retaliating with every girlfriend of mine to show them how ugly practicalability is actually.
i too wish to get in a true emotional one!

to some extent, people get together for some practical reasons, such as they are getting old.
but to me, i will not get married for some practical reasons. or to be exact, if i want to be with somebody, i will put my heart and soul on her, with my true loving emotion. right?
