This is to southern baptists

Would you see a sign from God if was in front of you?? Or Is all you see negative??? We all have the ability to choose what we deem important in life. Do you make doom, gloom, fire and brimstone, bad, and ugly the most important things?? Have you been taught that you are sinful and unworthy of God's love???? Draw a line in the sand and cross it, never to go back. See the good in people and things. If you have adversity, accept the challenges that come with the learning. Give love and kindness to everyone you meet. Help those you can and encourage those you can't. Know that God is Unconditional Love. He will never leave such a wonderful and special soul as you behind. He needs you to see doubt for what it is. It is the lie that someone taught you that you were not worthy. You are a Child of God. Show the world your true light of unconditional love. This world needs you!! Can you see God's sign now?????

Hi dasiejanie, Look around you my friend for God is everywhere. There is no need for fear and I expect you have heard far too much of it preached. Remember Jesus said, the kingdom of God is within you, is that what you have been taught? Many times in the Bible, we are told "be not afraid", try to follow this. I spent a good portion of my life seeking the God that was nearer to me then hands or feet. I think that the teachings of Jesus are among the best in the world, and there are other good teachings in the Bible, but I no longer feel the need to go to church. Many people end up in mental institutions, and I know some of them, because they attend a church that preaches fire and brimstone. This is not the way of Christ. Blessings.

I am not a southern baptist but I think I can help anyhow. Being saved is a way of saying that you have brought the Lord into your heart and will aim to live His will. You are saved when you believe that He is the Almighty and nothing can changed that. You do your best to walk in a blessed path. I am a negative person too and tend to lash out at God when things go wrong. Stop and take a breath for a moment and pray gently. Let God know how you are feeling and breathe in the process, you just might hear HIM talking to you. I hope that you have many blessings in your life. If you Believe that He is the Almighty, then leave your problems to him, let Him lead your life, let Him guide you to where you need to be in your life. I hope this helps. I am the most negative, doubtful person I know, but I stop and think that everything is possible with God. DO your best to do what you think is right and if you ever come accross a big bump, pray about it. He will guide you. I had an awakening not too long ago about telling someone the truth. I wasn't involved but my beau was. He was given the opportunity to finally tell a friend that he was the father of my beau's "neice". He didn't take it because he didn't want to be "involved". I told him that was God's way of saying take care of this untruth and then I proceded to find the guy to tell him myself. I never did, so my faith is telling me that that job was not meant for me. if you are a true believer of JESUS CHRIST, theres nothing to be confused or afraid of. we all know that if we recieved JESUS CHRIST as our LORD and savior we are His property. never dwell in your mind, be more focuss to GOD. always read the Word of GOD, not just pray. you can't hear the voice of GOD if you are not reading your Bible. for us Christian, to be strong and courageous for every circumtances is to be dependent on the Word of GOD. i hope this could help you and start your intimate relationship with the LORD our GOD and my prayer goes with you. stay blessed!
