Have you listed anything on eBay or any other auction site?
I listed a couple of things today because they are having a special no listing fee right now. Well, I have had these things since July. I bought them at an antique store just to list on eBay. But had been slacking. LOL So, I was glad that I finally got to list them, and if they don't sell it won't cost me anything.
What about you? Do you sell items on the internet? Have you listed anything lately?

Wow, I can't believe you have so many items to list. It sounds like you do quite well when you do list items too. That's quite a bit of money to make. It's great that you can put it towards Christmas gifts. I hope that you and your family will have a great Christmas.
Thank you for your response in this discussion, and have a great day here on myLot!

Oh, you are so welcome. I know what you mean about business being good at times and not at other times. As a matter of fact, I heard that February was a good month for antiques. Seems kind of strange that they would have their own month that is profitable.
Thanks again, and have a good evening!

I have never sold on Ebay or any other site for that matter. A few weeks back I did decide that it may be a good thing to do to generate some cash, but it wasn't to be. I had a vision of opening a cupboard and finding lots of wonderful, quality, wanted items that I could list and get some cold, hard cash in return. In fact, I opened the cupboard and the cupboard was bare. I don't really want to start buying stuff to sell as that would, for me, be defeating the object.
Also I do have a few worries about Ebay as I still read of people being scammed and I'm just worried that I may end up following for one of the scams. I know I'm probably being daft, but I'd rather be safe then sorry.

I have already gotten a bid on one of the items that I listed. And the money that I get for that, will be more than I paid for the two of them combined. Now that I know eBay is letting you list the first 5 items for free every month, I might start listing stuff again, regularly. Since there is no risk involved, I have nothing to lose except for the upfront fee that I pay for the item.
As always, thank you for responding in this discussion, and have a great week!

I usually list a few items on ebay each month. Usually its duplicate stamps, or sheet music I don't need, or stuff like that. I really like the fact that the first 5 listings each month are free to list. That helps a lot, as the items I sell aren't worth much.

I just found that special this month. I wasn't aware that they had been doing this on a regular basis. Maybe I will start listing a few items each month as well. Thank you for the tip. It is greatly appreciated.
And thank you for responding in this discussion as well. It just goes to show how much the people here on myLot help each other out. What a great community!

No I have never actually listed anything on ebay ,I signed up for an account but I never really got around to using it .I wish I had something to sell though because there is so much to be earned from selling on ebay .The irony though is taht when I signed up for ebay they didnt have the policy where you dont get charged if you dont sell anything

I think they just started that policy this year. I'm not even sure if it is a long term thing, or if they are just doing it to try to get more sellers. Plus, it is only for the first 5 items each month.
Thank you for your response in this discussion ronnyb, I hope you have a wonderful day here on myLot!
