People who don't read, or just ignore things. . .

Don't you just hate people who do not READ things?
Here in SpaceInvasion, I have encountered several people who tried to recruit me into their alliance when I was already in one! When sending a message, the sender will see very clearly the player information, which also includes the alliance the person is in - obviously they failed to take note of this.
I remember two times this happened to me.
Once a guy tried to recruit me saying that his alliance was going to make history (forgot his exact words and I lost the message he sent).
Well, I told him that the alliance I was in, the Klingon Imperial Empire, was already making history. I meant to imply very strongly that I was already in an alliance, so that I could not join his. But then he insulted our alliance so then I insulted him back and he hasn't responded since. . . I take that as a sign that I won.
Later, another person tried to recruit me into an alliance that I would never join EVER. It was called the "JEDI ORDER"!
A Star Wars alliance trying to recruit a Star Trek player - that just does not work out. He said that getting into his alliance was not easy and that only the ones with the most potential would receive an invitation. Of course this wasn't true, he was probably just recruiting random people. . . He then asked me to think about it carefully. When I refused he asked me to look at his alliance homepage and asked if it interested me.
Of course it did not, and I told him that I didn't want to join because I was a Trek fan. . . After a period of time, several weeks or so, the same person tried to recruit me again, into the same alliance.
I refused again. . .
What do you think about these people who just ignore things like this?

Actually there's some truthfulness in what you said there. I apply it for the example of article writing. Read somewhere that it's best not to write too long articles, lest people tend to skim it. They say normally, internet surfers would read the title, first paragraph, skim the rest and then go to the last paragraph. So, if there needs to be attention to certain words or phrases, best leave it on the first and last paragraph then. As for your Alliance thingy, I think he really didn't read it at all.. Summarily, I kind of suspect that long email replies are also not answered, unless the sender is someone very important to the reader, lol. I love Star Wars by the way.

Well, I think it would be okay to skim if it were a long piece of writing, but in here it should have been as clear as daylight. . . The information was only a small box, with a few lines.
Well, I do think that Star Wars is pretty cool, I don't hate it, but I just preferred Trek and especially staying with a Star Trek alliance for so long I didn't want to leave

I like icecream, too! :) Do you like star wars? Darth Vader is so cool! He's all like, "I AM YOUR FATHER" and Luke is all like "NOOO!!"
Just kidding. People who don't read things are insensitive, and people who choose to ignore something are rude.

And Picard is all like, "I am Locutus of Borg. Resistance is futile. Your life. . . as it has been. . . is over. From this time forward. . . you will service. . . us."
And the crew glances at eachother, and Riker is like, "Mr. Worf," while dramatic music plays, "fire!"
TO BE CONTINUED. . .
