Do You Watch Stargate?

Yes I still watch Stargate sg1 even though it doesn't have the same dynamic as it used to. I was pretty mad when they made the Prometheus, because if I wanted to watch a ship movie I would watch star trek, andromeda, farscape or star wars. That is what I liked about this show it was about the people, in our time, dealing with our problems with our level of technology. They lost that element when they switched to the ori, they were always on their ships and dealing with powers so far beyond us. They seemed to get stupider because they kept going after the ori even though they knew they were going to get beaten. The 200th episode is one of the worst ever, I was so stupid! While I understood all the little references to other shows and episodes they just weren't taking it seriously enough to make me believe anything. And where was Michael Shanks for episodes 4 and 5? I also wasn't happy that they are just so gung ho about welcoming Mitchell to the team and letting him lead them while they were so mean to Jonas Quinn, Vala Maldoran, Col. Makepeice, and Dr. Rothman when they joined. It just seemed so out of character. I've never liked Atlantis but I've started watching it this year because the writers, producers and visual effects people seem to be focusing all their attention on it and the episodes are more rewarding to watch than sg1. I have been an sg1 fan for 4 years and even went to a convention so I will still buy the DVDs. While I am sad that stargate sg1 is being cancelled I'm not surprised, this season has just been so disapointing.

I like it. season 10 of stargate sg1 is great. I hope to continue another 5 seasons. :)

I've followed stargate from the biginning, every since I've watched the 1994 movie stargate, I've followed it, it is great and the writers have created something absolutly amazing. This series is the absolute best example of how ancient mythology could have truly played out. Did you know that they are working on two new movies for stargate one that continues the Stargate series and one that continues the 1994 movie stargate. I cannot wait.

Yes I love stargate with its modern setting and high tech euiptment... Its very futuristic..

Ohhh boyyy ohhh boyyy ohhh boyyy ... do I love Stargate SG1 .. yess yess yess ... and Babylon 5 .. in fact just about anything sci-fi .. along with war movies with a story (and not just gallons of blood and guts spilling everywhere) .. horror especially supernatural horror ... Ohh blimey .. sorry .. got a bit carried away heheheh

I'm a recent convert to Stargate. I'm watching the old series (thanks to netflix!). I'm finishing up season 2 and starting season 3. I'm trying to get caught up, but it's taking time!
