How many pillows you have in your bed?

Last night was probably the worst sleep i have in my life. I only slept between 1 to 2 hours with cut offs. Not a good thing cause most of the time i get not less than 6 hours of sleeping time. Here is why... a friend of mine invited me to her house to hung out. We watch a movie, play some pool and had a small little drink. I dont plan to stay there for long but we had so much fun that i forgot what time it is. After watching the movie, she invited me to her room. She said, she wanna show me to her newly renovated room so i come and look at it. It was one of the most beautiful bedroom ive ever seen in my life. Although the concept is a little bit girly, i still admire it even im a guy...so kudos to the interior designer! well done! She has this queen size, four post bed with eight pillows. I wish i take a picture of it for you guys to see. So anyways, while we in her room she ask me if i wanna stay and join her to sleep. Without any hesitation, i said yes! ofcourse. I will not gonna go to the details of what happen last night but here is why i start this discussion. Right when we about to sleep, i throw one of her pillows to the ground she got pissed and punch me to the head. Remember she have 8 pillows, i dont feel comfortable sleeping with that many pillows. In my bed, i only have 3 so i feel like 8 is too much...end of the story.

I had about 4 or 5 pillows and I ended up boxing the off at night because they took up too much of my space in bed!! I know someone who had a pillow for each body part, to support the legs, the head, the arms, the stomach, the back, the feet, no exageration!!! They are great for decorating the bed but at night, they have to go. 2 is good enough!!

Hi.
I guess I am a minimalist. I only have one pillow on my bed. I don't really need more. It does it's purpose well for me.

I only have two pillows, mainly because I usually need to sleep on two to feel comfortable. And since my dog is pretty spoiled, I have his dog bed on the other side of my bed.

My beau and I have 6 pillows on our bed. It looks luxurious before we mess the bed up and makes me happy. On the other hand about all of mine end up on the floor because despite the way it looks, I am uncomfortable with 3 pillows under my head. I have a bad back and tend to sleep in whatever position it takes to get me comfy. I know the feeling with 1-2 hours of sleep. I get very little also because I am up and down all night!

I have 4 pillows in my bed i have two for myself.I can not sleep unless i have the 2 pillows as all i do is rustle around as well as cough so i have to use 2 pillows.I also find that if someone swaps my pillows i can not get to sleep properly as i am soo used to the same 2 pillows.

I have 3 pillows. My sister share the bed with me and has 2 pillows. We have a "hotdog" pillow and an elongated rabbit pillow. All in all, we have 7 pillows in our bed. I like pillows.

I have 4 pillows on my bed. One for the head, two pillows to hug and one to elevate my feet. The pillow on my head is an orthopedic pillow to prevent strain on the neck. I sleep really well with the pillow on my head because it is so relaxing and contours the shape of you head and neck.

hello stephon8... that's weird. well, we all have our own perceptions and likes but its just weird for me to have that much pillows! putting myself on your shoes, i could not have a sound sleep in that case too.
at home, i only have one and i am already satisfied with it. one pillow can already put me to bed for hours, and sound sleeping! if i have two or more, there might be a little adjustment and a little uncomfortable on my part (let alone 8 pillows!).. i am not just used to it. for me, having one is enough and that already satisfies me couldn't ask for more.
but then again as mentioned earlier, we all have our own preferences. maybe she is just used to it and those pillows are her comfort zone.

8 pillows? Wow, that's odd.
I only have one pillow and I don't need more. The pillow I had earlier was very thin but it was the only one that was confortable for me, or so I thought...
I bought a new pillow recently, and now I don't want to go back to the old one :)

I have three pillows too on my bed. Eight is too much, I agree with you but she must have paid expensively for all those eight pillows that's why she got mad when you threw one of them down. I cannot sleep in other people's houses, and its hard for me to sleep even when I'm staying in a hotel on vacation. I always miss the comfort of my bed and the smell of my pillows.

There is three pillows in my bed, two regular size pillows to sleep on and a body pillow that I hug. Whenever I go to stores that sell beds, there are always eight or ten pillows on the mattresses but that doesn't seem too realistic. I couldn't think of a reason why I would need more than three pillows but if an abundance of pillows makes your friend happy...um, good for her.

Hi stepho8,We only have 6 pillows in our bed.Three for my husband and the other three for me.We were so comfortable having 6 pillows in our bed because it helps us to sleep well day or night.thanks,Good luck!

there are two pillows in my bed.one of my wife and the other is my .In fact ,i want to buy more pillows .i d like to hold one pillow when i sleep alone and my wife always puts a pillow under her legs .so we need another pillows .
