I was going through my friend's excursion album and was intrigued by the locale and the fun that the students were having. I hardly know them, except for my friend, but I was enjoying the fun went into shooting them! Do you like watching photos, old photos, family photos, photos generally?

hi,minipi! I am glad to watch photos of others. people always are fond of showing me their photos and tell me a lot of intersting or uninteresting things about their experience when I am going through them.anyway watching photos is a leisurely way of killing time. but honestly speaking,I don't enjoy touring with someone photoing all the way.I really doubt that whether the purpose of his touring is to enjoy the fun and beaty there or to take home a ton of photos to show off to others. have a nice day!

You have a point there Cathy. Bt let's not go into it. Isn't is beautiful reliving the old days? Don't you but laugh at your bad hair day or at your sister's fallen tooth which was visible just because you poked her at the right say-cheese moment?! life is fun!

Hi Mimpi, Yes i enjoy looking at photographs actually i have so many photo albums at home. i love taking pictures, collecting pictures and from time to time watching and reviewing it. It always refreshes the memories when those photos were taken. For me these are great memorabilia that can be passed on from one generation to another.

So, so true francisco! My sister has a huge collection of albums in which she has categorically preserved the photos year, month wise. Its an expensive affair for preservation is quite an affair. She has a closet for keeping the memorabilia. At times we tease her for her obsession, she thinks its her passion. But it's always fun and reliving the past and precious moments just by flipping through the pages.

It will always be fun to flip all those pages in my photo album trying to recall names of those in the pictures, the date when it happened and the event. It's more fun if you do it with other members of the family. There is always magic in every picture and i love feeling it over and over again!

hi mimpi1911 yes indeed its a lot of fun to go through books of old photos of family even friends and places you might have gone or places others have gone that are intriguing to look at. I think most people really enjoy looking at old family photos especially those of people way back on your family tree like the photo of my grgr grandmother who had thirteen children. she looked so grim I had to figure that married at age fifteen and having a child every year after that for thirteen years she had a right to look a tad care worn.

Hi, mimpi. Yes I do like to look at old photographs. It gives me a chance to see how others and me looked like back in the days. I like to see my old self from my new self. I can compare and contrast what has remained the same or changed.. I have many pictures my kids, but less of me.. I love looking at old pictures. Sometimes it takes me back in the old days.

I love photographs especially from the past. We have a daily paper that has news from just our town and every so often they put in photos of how our town used to be many years ago! I think its great looking at your own photo album and other peoples just like retrieving memories that your brain hasnt thought about in a while!

It is a pleasure experience to bring down the pile of photo albums to the floor, sitting around it taking them one after another to go through the moments and the moods frozen. That is what I do with my wife and daughter once in a while. It used to be very full filling to the heart every tine we do that. And my main hobby too is photography.

And the photography classes teach how to apply lights, shadows and effects to a picture. But the artistic appreciation can't be taught. You need to discover how you feel in relation with a landscape or a flower and create a picture from that.

I really enjoy looking at people's photos. It can be delightful fun to see people's vacation photos. I like seeing people's wedding photos. Seeing family photos can be especially interesting. When seeing friends that I know how with photos of when they were much younger if is fun to guess the age. Sometimes siblings when younger did look similar in the photos. I love to look through my travel photos again. I have been on many different trips. Photography is one of my hobbies.

Yes I really enjoy looking through photos, even If I do not know anyone in the pictures. I really like looking through old photos of local areas that I know well and seeing how the areas used to look in the past. The city that I live in has changed rapidly throughout it's short life as it has been the fastest growing region in the country for many years and they are continually changing things to try to keep up with the population growth.

Yes, I could not imagine a time when there were no photos to look over. It really was not all that long ago that the only way to record images was the time consuming art of painting. Now we can take a photo and send it to the other side of the world in minutes!

But is is a little pity that most of the kid's photos of mine were blurred that I could not recall the childhood's appearance. Have a nice day.

Yes, nowadays we have the good enchancer for the photos that we can keep it well. But thirties years ago, my mom seems that she did not have such sense to protect the photos. Once the photos are developed, she did not even laminate the film on it, thus I even can not recognize who is me from the blurred photos. (I did not blame my mom here) I just felt so pity for the old photos.

Yes, photographs are important testimony, sweet memorabilia and proven anecdotes of life. I find the historical photos very fascinating for we get to know so many things about the era. Only the other day, I was watching some jewelery, comprising of beads, of the Inkas and awed by the craftmanship!

Photos generally are objects that brought back our old memories. It serves as a medium for preservation in every scenario of our life. That's why i love photography and watching photos has always been my passion. Photos create an imaginative thought within me. I could flashback all my past memories and enjoyed remembering those times. Seeing my family, friends and relatives together in a photo eventhough they are already far from me creates a good sense of feeling. As if they were near though the reality is that I am really miles away from them.

So true! The photos that I take every year when my sisters come down on vacation become a way to be close with them the rest part of the year when they are not with me. My grandmom's photo, I look at everyday and remember her. She is no more now but within my soul, always.

Surely I do love much edifying quality photos. Everyday I visit this site; Astronomy Picture of the Day Archive - http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html While learning some photography techniques for my own historical photo album. Who knows in the next fifty years after I am no longer exist in this world it will be a tertiary journal for students reference. My little hopes about it.

Yep, I sure do mimpi.^_^ Its kinda like a blast from the past. Its wonderful to look at a photo and then remember the memories that are attached to it on that day at that time. Sometimes we might even think that we have forgotten all about it, then we would see a photo that has captured some piece of that moment, and then we remember "oh yeah", that's what happened during that day. Then we would remember the events surrounding that frozen moment on the photo. Isnt it strange that we seem to just laugh at the things that we might have done before, when we are reminded about them by photos?

Yes yes, so very much! I still have some photos that have me in some worst moments when I was either playing with clay or messing around with colors and someone invariably snatched me from there and dumped me on a most perfect shooting locale. Ever one else was decked up except me who was totally misfit.

I love taking photographs of special moments and turn them into memories. I have albums of photos and of course a lot are on my computer now. I am not great at taking photographs and I am thankful for the digital camera my sister bought me for my birthday last year because now I can keep trying until I get the picture just right! I am getting better; I just have to keep practicing. I did consider doing a hobby photography course once and it may still be something I will look into when I have more free time, whenever that will be! I love looking at books of photographs especially the old black and white ones of days gone by and I particular like seeing pictures of places as they used to be a couple of hundred years ago.

Hi, Mimpi! When I browse through the old photos, I would reminisce the past and wonder what has happened to those people in the photos or missing those who have left this world. They are full of nostalgia. Normally, when I look at photos of others, I would search for familiar faces in the photographs I am looking at, but generally, yes I enjoy looking at photos. Like the saying goes, they speak a thousand words.
