Have you grown too used to this site? Have you ever thought of what will happen if mylot was not here?
I have never thought about that. But today I had been doing mylot for 7 hours straight without doing a single household chore. My father screamed at me for 10 minutes and just went away. Instead of helping him I suddenly thought of this discussion.
What will I do if mylot was not there? I will have 4-5 hours free time everyday. I do not know how I will utilize that, not to mention that I will be low on my pocket money.
What do you think?

Hi Sagnik42
I haven't got the MYLOT bug nearly as much as you do I just couldn't see myself spending 7 hours straight in here. There are so many other ways to earn money online that pay a lot better and quicker than Mylot does however this is still a nice site to come and fellowship with other people from all over the world and get different viewpoints on how people react to things that happen in everyday life.
This is my first response in about a month now I when I first started with MYLOT I was kind of addicted to it myself at one point spending as much as 3 hours in here a few times a week but for me it got old quick . One thing I had to do was turn off the friends list because my email was getting so flooded some of my other important mail was getting through it was going to my spam mail .
Also when I would post a new topic of discussion the responses would come in through my email and it would pile up so quick I got kind of tired of sorting through them so now I just think I'll come in a few times a week spend maybe an hour and then leave it at that so that I can focus more on my other income earning endeavors. That way I won't be overwhelmed .
It would be nice if MYLOT payed its members on a weekly or even biweekly basis instead of monthly also offer more money for quality responses that would be a nice incentive.

Great points Cherry. I do enjoy MyLot, but it's not my entire life, and I earn more from other sites, so I wouldn't miss it ALL that much.
I don't have the email settings on to notify me of responses, but if I did it would certainly be too much for me to handle as well!

Thank you for such a great response. We hardly get responses like these now a days. I would love to earn more, that is for sure.
Well, I was enjoying so much that I did not look at the time. However, I usually spend a couple of hours here per day. That is not that much. I wish I could invest more time and earn more. But I cannot stay away from this site for a whole month. How did you do that?

Hi sagnik42,
Well for the start if mylot was gone, you can help your dad with house chores and seven hours for yo is too much any way and then you can hang out with your friends more do many outdoor sports, to earn pocket money you can get a part time job or a weekend job, better still helping your dad to do oher chores and get paid for it, see you won't really need mylot.

Hello sagnik.
It's pretty funny that we had the same discussion when i was just starting. And i call that the "getting addicted" stage. I started the same discussion but to my disappointment, it got deleted for i was thinking negatively. I don't know. But i think it won't be gone. As long as we are here, the participative members are here, and their never-ending referrals, it will continue to grow together with our earnings. I just can't imagine this thought.

If mylot stops paying members - some will disappear, but if mylot is gone, it won't be the same boat again since most of the users aren't really that into social networking and most are really into money. you will see the big difference of activity and participation when mylot is no longer active in paying it's users. frankly i don't know what to do if mylot is no more.

That's doomsday, just kidding. It's going to be a sad day for the almost 200,000 members who have been enjoying this site for more that a few years already. So far, I can say that I consider mylot as my number internet site at the moment. But you raised a good discussion there, as much as we want mylot to exist longer, its really a fact that nothing lasts forever. So, it might be a good suggestion if we can come up or how we can come up with ways to prevent mylot from closing down. Cheers!

Well sagnik, if mylot is not there, I will be watching movies regularly in HBO and Star Movies, every day at 9 P.M., usually, I start browsing by 8P.M. and go up to 11 P.M.If mylot is not there, I will be sitting in front of the T.V.

That is true. I have also stopped watching television since I started mylotting. I was never hooked to TV at any point of time. I will do something else, if mylot is not here, but I will surely not watch TV. I might watch more movies on my computer or play a little more games, or as my father pointed out, do some chores.

sagnik42 I would feel so bad as I am retired and it fills a big void in my life that listening to the boob tube all day does not plus I need the money to pay my internet bill in the first place. so I would really really miss it and feel so sad as I would need some other outlet for myself both for fun and for money.

I also pay my internet bill from my mylot earnings. And after that whatever I have left I use to watch movies and stuff. So I will have to find other source of income as well. I do not think I will find another site which is more reliable and where I can guaranteed earn 10$ a month if not more.

WOW! Seven hours is a very long time to be on MyLot. I think I would get bored.
I only visit MyLot a few times a week, if that, for the most part, so I don't think it would affect me quite as much. Of course it IS nice to have MyLot and the extra money is great, but if MyLot went away, I think I would just find another community. I might not get paid for it like MyLot, which would suck, but I would definitely survive!

I would try to find another site that is quite the same to mylot. Then I will be able to write discussion or response as I usually do on mylot. Hes he...:) But I think mylot will never go. It will be here forever if all of us also stay here forever. Sometimes, I stay with mylot almost 8 hours, but my father never complain to me because he is busy with his work:). So keep trying on! Mylotting..

I've been mylotting for about four months now, and I really feel like I would be lost without it. For me it isn't so much about the money, but that is a really nice added bonus. For me, it is more about the fact that I am able to have adult conversation when there are no adults around for me to talk to. Without mylot I really feel like I would be lost. I do use Facebook every day as well, but it is nothing near as fulfilling as mylotting is.

Hi sagnik: I'm only here for about two months but i can tell you the my life would be boring if Mylot doesn't exist and my wallet would be empty too. Thanks to mylot i have given to my sister a Twilight bottom she really loved to have and i have else bought on ebay my Tell Me It's Not Over single, from one of my favorite bands in the world, Starsailor. I won't stop telling how much i love mylot, i would simply missed the time here and i think i can hardly find a site like this one. Thanks for starting this discussion even if i can not imagine how things would be if this scenario would be real. Have a nice day

I too have bought a leather belt which has a Manchester United logo on it from ebay using the money earned from mylot. It is a nice belt and I got it delivered very fast. Thanks to mylot I have learned the use of ebay. Previously I used to visit the site but did not have any money to buy things. Now, although it is very little, but I have bought something I really like and that is a great accomplishment.

I must say that I must be doing nothing greater or better than mylot. I am not grown too used to this site but I will be sooner or later. If it was not there I probably be doing some useless work or time pass. I cannot imagine my life without mylot and my computer at least not at this stage.
Anyway I must continue the work at mylot now.
Good luck,
Happy Mylotting.

7 hours? freak!!
I rarely come to mylot, specially when I got some problems with my PC or other stuff. Mylot is a good source of information for me.
Last time I came to mylot bacuse my PC used to restart every few hours. Some one asked me to check the temperature of processor. And WTF!!! 96° C!? ... I started a new discussion asking for solution on this. Solution was simple cleaning the fan

Well I had nothing to do actually and I just kept on posting. Suddenly I realized it had been more than 5 hours. Then I responded to a few more discussions and wow, it was 7 hours.
I have also received great advice from the members of this site and it has helped me a lot. I am thankful to everyone for making this such a great place to earn and have fun.

How sad to even think of such a thing. It has become a sort of home away from home and a definite addiction for me. I really don't know what I would do if there no longer was a Mylot to go to. I think I would just write more. I would probably, in all honesty, be higher in pocket money because the other areas I would go to if I couldn't come here any longer would pay me better than Mylot does.

Hi, sagnik! A Chinese friend greetings here. When I read your words, I was thinking what will happen with mylot here. Because I am a new mylot friend here. Tell the truth, I never know mylot before even today. I spend a lot of time searching in the wave of the internet and try to find a good place, where I can make new friends, learn new things, and most of all come to know what happens in the other side of the world.
