I believe that which you put out comes back at you tenfold.
I love seeing the "karma" jar at restaurants (the tip jar.).
I have to admit, I do give money to all the homeless people on the street corners as I pass by. It's hard 'cause I am hurting for money, too.
But, I have my car, if things got grim for me. They have a box.
I don't believe in god, but I do believe in helping out.

I don't believe in Karma. Maybe everything happens for a reason and that reason is very unknown. Or maybe destiny prompts us the bad luck rather than our expectation. I really don't believe Karma existed because we make our own road and which ever road we take, we are responsible for that if we broaden our knowledge about the possibilities of tomorrow.

As I know, Karma is a Hindu belief that there is a good and bad karma. That in every actions you take, consequences will surely take place in time. But in Christian Belief, I believe in the Golden Rule that do things to your brothers as you want them to do unto you. It's kinda related to Karma belief but I think the thought is really far different. For in Karma, you always expect something in return... but in the Golden Rule, you act as the way you want other to act unto you but you are not expecting anything in return.. you just put your self on one's shoe.

I totally believe in Karma, and it is not very different from the Golden Rule at all, it is pretty similar. Karma states that whatever you do to someone, it will eventually come back to you. If you do something good for someone, then that good will come back to you, if you do something bad to somebody, then that will come back to you as well.
The Golden Rule states "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", and this proves to be true as well, if you want to be treated right, then you have to treat others the way that you would want to be treated.
Of course, there are those people out there who treat people badly, no matter how nice people are to them, example given, my boyfriend's father. No matter how great people are to him, he still treats them like dirt. This has eventually come back to haunt him, but it has taken a long while.

Well for me it is far different in Golden rule in someways. Like what you've said, in Karma you do things base on how you want it to come back to you and that Karma belief expect something in return. But in the Golden Rule, You only put your self on others shoe thinking what might people feel for your actions but you are not expecting anything in return. Karma is a Hindu belief while Golden Rule is a Christian belief, with that I think it is different from each other.

I always believe in KARMA, be it good or bad. That's why i never forget to do good unto others, so that others may do good unto me ,too. There's no difference between golden rule and KARMA. they do tell the same and means the same. when you do good deeds, good things will happen to you, and when you do bad, the same thing will happen to you, that's what we call bad KARMA.

Hi Shirley maybe in some thought Karma and Golden Rule are somewhat related but in real thought it is far different. You expect something in return for every actions you take in Karma Belief, while in Golden you put your self on others shoe but you are not expecting anything in return.

FOr me, Karma and the GOlden Rule have the same principle. They encOurage each individual tO dO an act Of gOOdness sO as tO expect and receive a gOOd act in return. SO if yOu dO an evil act, consequently evil will fall upOn yOu. ThOugh these tenets differ in Origin, One is in the east, the Other is western, they apply the same rule Of cause and effect. GOOd things happen when yOu dO gOOd deeds and bad things happen when yOu dO wicked deeds.
Yes, krystalheart, I believe in KARMA, as well as in the GOlden Rule.

Hi Styker1005.. Karma and Golden Rule is not same in principle. Maybe they are said to be in someways but not exactly same. Karma expects consequences for the bad things and something good in return for good things one. But in Golden Rule, you do not expect anything... you just put your self in others shoe to make you feel what others may feel for all your actions.

hi krystalheart I think karma means what goes around comes around if you do something mean to me that is totally unjustified sooner or later something will happen to bit you back in the butt.
The golden rule says to do unto others as you would have them
do unto you. a little different. karma is that one person hurts another it will come back to hurt the wrong doer in some way.
