do you have this problem misplacing things and then right after forgetting it was right in front of you or somewhere close-by and then you go looking for it every where.... so how does one cure this form of dementia LOL

I forget things all the time and sit surrounded by Post-It notes otherwise I'd never remember anything. I'm not getting any younger and it's a bit scary that it might be the early stages of dementia, but with me I think it's more to do with a change of lifestyle whereby I don't have anyone telling me what to do as I'm now my own boss, so a lot of the structure of how life used to be has been removed. I tend to daydream a lot (always have done) and I think that helps make me forgetful as I don't put the effort into focusing on things as much as I used to.

that is why i wrote this discussion, i often forget words and names but i hardly forget images or colors.
