Would mylot slow its payment after many users sign up?

ok, it seems to me like a trend for most popular websites. Once a new paid - to website gets popular, more and more internet users swarm to sign up for it, to get a slice of pie for the moment. All of the sudden, the websites revenue can't handle that many people, and start to decrease the payment. It happens to ciao; gomezpeers, and other popular sites too. Would that happen to mylot too, once there will be more and more people join this site?

Not likely to happen since mylot is established and stable. In case a lot of people sign up, and they would end up with a financial loss thereĀ“s always a net just beneath mylot; the company that owns it.

I hope that is a truth, but I just worry that more and more people signing up for it, and it simply decrease its paying at first. Later, it might come up some excuses not paying people or what not.

maybe it could be possible in the long run... but no matter what... what is important is that we enjoy our stay here at the same time we earn... =)

Are you the guys who want to make $100 per week from mylot? Now, it seems impossible to achieve on it. Because I just notice my earning is not that easy to earn from here. so, you might re -consider your tactics on here.

When I joined nearly 4 years ago, I made rather more in a month than I can do now. MyLot has a unique payment system. There is no set amount 'per post' so those who consistently post good quality stuff are paid more than people who don't. The irony is that, as a rule, those who post good quality discussions and responses are not primarily here for the money!

I wouldn't disagree with that, GreyHatter

Although the average amount for each person's participation may have varied, I believe that MyLot's payment system is quite adequate to cope with the number of members. MyLot has ALWAYS paid on time! It has to be remembered that, of the 190,000 current members very many of them are not active.

I believe more people is better! The more people who sign up the more traffic this website gets. And that's what every owner of a website wants!

I have been on this site for years. I don't think that will happen here. At least I hope not. It hasn't happened yet.

I think its already happened. Now I get near to none but pennies because I don't comment on many conversations as I used to but I still like to start conversations but now its nearly not enough just getting responses you have to be more involved and I kind of lost my interest the past month so its been hard. My interest at mylot comes and goes but I do think you have to post more comments now than you used to and when Im coming and going from my computer i cant always shift through and find conversations that interest me.

hi,clorissa! your question makes me a little worried. I have just joined in mylot fot less than a month and even haven't get my payment once.now there are less than five dollars in my account and I hope can earn more and get the cash. of course I believe mylot is becoming extensive stably,so it must be earning big money, and it will keep running to earn more money. have a nice day!

I hope not. I have been with mylot for a few years now and so far they have not cut back on what they give their members. You are right though a lot of web sites start out all generous and then quickly cut back on what they give members. I believe that mylot is an established site though and they know what they are doing. I think that happens a lot with newer sites who start out too overly optimistic and then they realize that they can't do what they promised members in the beginning yet still be profitable. That is why I prefer to join more established sites that have been around for a couple of years because they understand what they are doing and don't make promises they can't keep.

I have only been a member here for a few months I am not sure of the exact time, I will have to check that out for sure so next time I can say an exact time but anyways i hope that it doesn't because it does seem like everytime I start to like a website it gets pushed into the dust. I was a member of another site before for about 2 months and was really starting to like and then the next time I logged it there was a message saying that their finances had ran out due to their high amount of members and the was the last of that. i am just crossing my fingers that doesn't happen again especially with mylot because I am addicted to mylot LOL

That's a possibility, if we're going to apply the law of supply and demand then that is surely to happen not unless mylot's revenues can compensate everyone. But I think mylots concept is unique. Even if the number of members keep on increasing, it will not make any difference not unless everyone can come up with quality discussions every time. But still, it is a possibility since the longer you stay here the more chances of making quality discussions and posts. But if mylot was able to past crucial stage then I think mylot will still be around for awhile longer (i hope so). Cheers!

At last I give up, and I check the site from internet, found many comments said gomezpeers little active memebmer there. I given up now. I believe mylot have it own payment system.

Even if there are more and more friends who join myLot, I don't think myLot will slow its payment to memebers here. Yes, as you have said above, as one site becomes more and more popular, then it may slow its payments because it needs large amounts of time to finish such a big task. But for myLot, we don't meet such a situation because the staffs of myLot have enough time to do such a job. You see, as the guidelines, when we have earned enough in the current month to qualify for the payment of next month, we will receivethe payouts on or before 15 of next month. Don't worry about that, myLot is competent for this work.
