We didn't have video games when I was young. We used to play cards, and board games. I likes 500, it is a great card game. As far as board games go, I had one called Totopoly, which I used to like.

is that totopoly something like monopoly. you get paper currency , and you keeping buying states , railway station ,according to number of disc comes.

The theme is similar to monopoly only because it is a dice game, and there is paper money and the winner is the one with the most money. However, the concept is horse training, and racing. The training and preparation for the race is on one side of the board, and the race on the other.

There was no mario when I was small. First we played a lot of card and board games and then there was the atari game system. I liked the racing games.
Later, after I had kids I would spend days, sometimes staying up all night trying to finish up different levels on mario games. I forget which one it was, it had a haunted house and mario could fly if you knew how to do it.
My son was 4 when I let him play and I didn't think he would figure it out but he taught me things I didn't know I could do. (like spinning and jumping on a turtle!)
