Who else thinks the whole Twilight thing is garbage?
The books are horrible; for example, in the third book the author discovers foreshadowing for the first time and then fills the book with nothing but foreshadowing.
The movies are so garbage; sparkling vampires, anyone?
The second one did not deserve to beat Batman, a classic, where this was a D-level movie at best.
There, I got it out :P
Note: I did try to read the books and watch the movies

You tried to watch the movies? So you did not watch the whole part? You can you judge the best when you dont know the worst? You should have watched the whole movie before commenting on them. I would not comment on something that I do not know fully well.
I have read the first two books and they were really good. I did not like the first movie that much but it was average. I have not yet seen 'New Moon'. I would not say it was garbage. It was better than many movies I have seen. And may I know which Batman movie you are talking about? Some were awful while some were too good. Unless you mention which particular Batman movie you are talking about, it is very difficult to compare.

I knew that you did not watch the whole movie. And a movie like Dark Knight cannot be made everyday by everybody. It is once in a year or once in a decade movie. You cannot judge a movie by comparing it to a movie of the caliber of Dark Knight. It is the best superhero movie ever, it is the best 2008 movie in my opinion. It is not fair to set your expectation so high up. You will disappointed in every step. You should judge every movie on its own merit.

You sound like my daughter. That is exactly what she says. I don't think the movies and books are garbage, I like the books better then the movies. I think the movies have been OK, and the books have been OK, I don't find them amazing or anything like that though. Just OK, I had no problem with watching the movies but I don't really care to see them again.
