Nursing? What's your story?
Ouch! When I first started nursing I would cry when I knew she was hungry b/c it hurt so bad, that I was scared of her latching on again. The only way I got through that period was every other feeding having my husband give her formula while I pumped. The pumping didn't hurt as much, and then I had fresh milk to give her. As it got easier I went back to only nursing. Much easier to nurse than to pump, store, prepare and wash bottles. I don't have to pack anything but diapers when we leave the house. Very Easy.
Any other suggestions for new moms?

I learned quickly. Try getting a lanolin cream to put on, especially before you take a shower. After two days of using it the soreness was gone...and I haven't had a problem since. It hurts because she is improperly latched. When she latchs correctly, there should be no pain whatsoever. Another idea is to massage while nursing...this also helps quicken the flow when pumping. Definitely get the lanonlin! You put can put it on whenever, and it's very cheap.
