Why do we need to enable autopay on ptc sites?

I just want to know if it's necessary to enable the autopay in our ptc accounts. Does it mean that if we enabled it and reached the minimum cashout then it'll automatically pay us in our alertpay or paypal account? I'm comfused about it. Please tell me.

Because you gonna pay cheaper.. and you didn't need to extended them one by one..
