who come first egg or hen

I will give you pure logic first and then other angles to this question. Starting with a scientific explainationor a hypothesis that I propose. Scientific View: I hope you would know the theory of evolution. mutation is a rampant phenomena in the nature.mutation is the process in which the genes when passing from one generation to the other change in absurd ways. Now this is the basic root of having so many different species of animals, birds and plantsfrom the beginning with a single celled organism. Now as a matter of fact we know an egg is a single cell. so the first bird which can be categorised as hen due to a difference in genes from its parent also came from an egg. But since the parent birds didnt have the same quality as that of the bird we categorize as hen they cannot be called hen/rooster. NOw those parents mated and the female parent laid an egg which have somemutated genes causing the birth of a new species called hen. SO the hen came from an egg which didnt come from a hen. SO by that hypothesis EGG CAME FIRST and then came the hen. Religious View: God created all animals and birds. hen is a bird and so hen came first and then the first hen laid the egg. so HEN CAME FIRST. Comic View: Whatever you order first at the restaurant will come first. so it depends on what you want to eat first.

this is a very old philosophy question,it is too hard to tell that is first. i personly think that the first should be hen, the cell become hen by some active factors,then hen will give u eggs......

The answer is of course the hen. It was proven scientifically and biblically.

Well it is really hard to think about it. But practically speaking I will go for the hen. If the eggs comes first then who lay the eggs? And who sit on the egg so that it will hatch?

its quite obvious that the chicken did came first. If we'd go back to the story of creation, God created animals, not eggs.
