How do they put up with it?

Have you ever come across a relationship where you wondered how one partner put up with the other one?
I know a woman who is married to a man who seems very selfish and inconsiderate. They went to Legoland as a family day out but there was a two hour wait to get off the car park. Because he was irritated by the traffic jam (and he wasn't even driving) he got out of the car and went to a nearby pub and told his wife to 'phone him once she was on the road and to pick him up!
Can you believe that, he abandoned her in the car with the kids and went and had a meal and a couple of beers.
Had that been me I wouldn't have called him once I was out, I'd have gone home and left him to walk back!
He often does things like this, goes off for weekends, nights out and leaves her with the kids. The poor woman NEVER gets a night or day off from the kids unless the grandparents babysit. The husband never thinks he might stay home and watch them while she has a little break.
Oh, and he expects her to do all the housework even though she has a full time job.
Would you put up with that? Do you know of relationships like that and do they make you wonder?

That guys wife is an idiot. I would never put up with that. What a selfish jerk! But she lets it go on too. She needs to tell him off. She could stop and for whatever reason she choses not to. He is out for himself and she either takes it or sets him square. Up to her!

wow!! that so mean.. I have to say the woman should atleast try to talk it out with his husband why he has to act like that(its so irresponsible considering he has kids).
