Mylotters, do you have any experience as a writer? Is it difficult for you to write?

Hello there, my simply advice would be to read read read and then read some more. The more you read in English, the more you will familiarize yourself with the language. I would also recommend to watch movies in English, this is another way of learning how to get more familiar with the language.

hi bettydeng,
I know that its difficult to survive withou knowing english and if you are not a native on english its little bit difficult to be fluent. What i know is as a writer you must be fluent is english spelling and grammer but not necessarily in fluent in speaking. What ever they see is your writing skills so dont worry any just improve your grammer while writing any article as impproper formation of sentences may give some other meaning and may mislead the person who reads it. Any one may expect an proper understandable article and if you can write it you can become a writer.
As a writer i never faced any problems for not speaking english fluently but if your grammer is not good sometimes you can expect rejection of your article which is common and i faced too.Hope this information is useful..All the best for your writing career.Happy Mylotting

Well writing may seem easy for some, but if you want to get serious about writing consider it as a profession then you really should learn a lot about the English language. Since it is the universal language and is widely used in business then you really have to be fluent on it for you to be competent ;) Read English books, stories, and different kinds of articles (like news story, literature, informative articles) because each has different styles of composition. :) I encourage that you also practice speaking and writing in English and eventually you'll learn the language.
Goodluck, take care and God bless.. By the way English isn't also my native language I'm a Filipino..

read a lot of books in English, whether novels or nonfiction, it doesn't matter as long as you enjoy the content. the more you read, the better your english will be. also try to listen to tapes and dvds and movies in english, and practice talking in english, whether on the internet by talking or microphone, or with friends who also want to practice their english.
