Do you prefer long nails or short nails, polish or no polish?

I agree with you. I like long nails but not super long. I mean how can you really do anything with super long nails. I know I've seen it done but that's just more work than actually necessary and they normally look ridiculous to me. I usually get a french manicure with my nails as well. Sometimes I'll get an orange tip instead because orange is my favorite color. Plus, I wear orange basically everyday there is so I will always match. When I don't have the chance to get my nails done professionally I like to buy the clear polish for stronger nails to put on them, so I can then stronger so they won't chip too easy.

Short nails for me, I am not careful enough to keep long nails. Weightlifting and crossfit don't fit with long nails. But I like to have them polished, pity is it never lasts enough!

I like my nails to be long, but not too long. If they get too long then I have a hard time typing or holding a pen/pencil comfortably, and since I'm in school, that can cause problems. Usually I get airbrush designs done on my nails, the freakier looking the better lol, but sometimes I like to have them bare with no polish or design.

Hello kjess77 this is checkmail and as being an male try to keep it always short as much as possible.Earlier also when i was playing cricket, going to school we were to keep short nails.So now its an habbit in me to cut short my nails and keep it always clean.Yeah after cuttign mine nails short i like to polish it as the rough touch og nails irritates me.

I personally prefer short nails i feel i can do more. I've only had tips about 4 times in my life. i hate taking them off by the way

I prefer long nails! It's so gorgeous :D Of course you need to spend some time to take care of your nails and I carry a nail file in my bag. I usually do my nails on sunday night, to prepare for the week.

I like what they call squoval sport length. They aren't too long but not too stubby either. I can grow my nails long but they end up curving the wrong way so if I want them a certain length for a while, I will get acrylics. I don't like polish unless it's on my toes. I might use clear polish, but that's about it. Even if I get the fake nails, a simple french manicure does it for me. I wash my hands frequently enough and if my nails are long, I always have a nail brush handy just in case.

I like nails to be short with no polish. I really hate long nails (no offence, lol!), and always have done. They stop you doing things, they collect dirt and germs, and they just look kind of tacky imho - and that goes for nail varnish too. I think my objection to long nails started when I used to play the violin - something you just can't do easily if you have nails of any length. And thinking about the whole germ aspect added to my hatred! Now if my nails grow so long that I can see more than about a millimetre of white at the top I have to cut them! Just my opinion!

i prefer to have a nice average length polished nails... i feel my hands are pretty if they are always with nail polish. lucky for me my nails dont get chip easily...so i can wear polish everyday. i can still wash clothes, wash the dishes and can do almost anything but with a little extra care so that your nail polish wont get chip.

I go back and forth between long and short. I am pretty efficient with the long nails too. I find that both long and short nails can get pretty dirty underneath, and clean under them often. I was also a cosmetologist at one time, and have seen many nail disease and fungus.

I prefer short nails for woman and dont have any color,,,i find it very neat to look ^^

hi dear, i think that short nails without polish are better than the long nails with polish? as these are the symbols of simplicity and are good for health coz short nails can not get dirty as long nails.

I prefer short nails. They look clean and tidy. When I were in Junior school, the school had the rule of checking nails on every Monday, the one who had long nails would be punished. Since then I get the habit of keeping clean short nails.

As a mommy of a four-year-old, I prefer short nails without any polish. That's just how it is, you get to use your hands all the time and long nails get to accumulate bacteria that could make your kid get sick. I prefer short, clean nails anyways.

I like my nails to be medium length. If my nails are to long then I start catching and snagging them and have to cut them. I do not see how anyone can do anything with long nails they always in the way. You are right they do get very dirty and it is harder to keep them clean.

I always prefer short nails-no polish because i find it neat and clean. I had it polished once but i noticed that my nails became yellowish.

I'm not a girl, but I'll answer this anyways. I'm not gay either lol. I personally like polished fingernails on a girl. It looks more cute to me. Although I don't really care much for fingernails on a girl haha. Just do what you think looks good on yourself.

I prefer short nails, because it seems cleaner and I can make sure that no bacteria living underneath them. It is easy for me to clean myself too.

Me, myself prefer short nails without any polish. It's clean and simple. For me it represents one's self. But of course it depends on an individual. In contrast, long nails with polish of course go with the fashion nowadays.
