Hi All!!
I am again back with a weird question..
It happened with one of my collegue..She found a five hundered rupees real currency note on the pavement. I think, she was really very lucky... I would be really excited if I get something like that on the pavement through which I am walking.
What would you do,if you found one like that???????Please be free to post.
Happy Mylotting!!

I would try to check if any one has been looking around for his lost money if i find him then i would return to him else i would distribute it to the beggars or just put in Hundi in a near by temple.I am nor interested in other people money coz the person who have lost must be in real need of those.tats why i would give it another needy person atleast this one would be happy.gud day.

I am going to take it to the bank then when I have it in safety, that's the time I will think of a business that only cost a fraction of what I saw in the pavement. I will make plans for that business and when it grows, I will make room for the needy to work for me and help me reach the goals of my business. Giving is good but in the bible, Jesus taught us how to fish and it is also our duty to teach others how to fish for themselves :)
That's how the world goes!
Take Care Sunny!

I once found Rs.100 lying beside a chair in Cafe Coffee Day and no one was picking it up! So what was I supposed to do! I picked it up, went back home and recharged my cellphone!

If I was to find a few coins then I would keep them. If it was a £5 note then I would keep that too. If it was £50 or over then I would take it to the Police station. The most I have ever found was a £5 note and I used it towards spending money when I went on holiday.
Imagine that it was your money you would like to think that it has been handed in. I wouldn't pick it straight up and shove it into my pocket, I would pick it up and look around to see if anyone is looking on the floor or through their pockets.

Wow! That is nice and a big help. Well I am not lucky, never I see money on the floor even a coin.
If I see money on the pavement or anywhere on the floor, I will get it and see or wait if somebody went back and look for it. If none and it is not as "big money". I will keep it.

Like what I said to sunny Ms. Tuyakiki, If I find $500 in the pavement, I will deposit it to the bank before I start thinking what to do to that money. It is a good amount to start a small business, once the money is stored into safety, I will find a way to start a business without spending much. Say, just a fraction with good returns to be able to help people in need. Giving is good but Jesus taught us how to fish and it is our responsibility whether you are a Christian or Not, to teach our fellowmen to fish and be able to enjoy their catch.
Nice topic Tuyakiki!

Oh, I could think of quite a few things I could do with that money. But I'd maybe save most of it. I'd like to make sure I wasn't just wasting it.. I would wait until I really needed something - like fixing my car or maybe for a few gifts for the holidays or birthdays that are coming up.

For me I would not pick it up. I know how annoying it is loosing money and would feel guilty spending that money when someone is sad that he lost his money. Would not pick it at all

If i found it in the pavement i will accept it as a blessing. i will thank god for this gift and i will keep it. I will give some to our church and spend the rest for my family's need.

If I found 500 bucks on pavement. It's already mine if no one claim it but if the case will be like just a person accidentally dropped it, I'm gonna give it back to the owner. Of course if you don't have the idea who owned that money, just take the money like it was just came from heaven. Happy Mylotting too!!

500 hundred rupees are a small ammount of money -if we're talking about indian rupees-, so I would keep it and buy me a dinner on mc Donalds probably XD

500.00 is a lot of money and if its not in a wallet w/ id, i'd prolly take it. my conscience wouldn't let me take it if it said who it belonged, but no wallet, its all mine

Hey,
I dont think its appropriate to keep such money. Think about the poor soul who lost it! If i find 500 rupee note some where, i will try my best to look for the person who lost it. If i dont find that person then i would donate the money to some chairy organization or something like that.
The last thing to do in such cases is to keep the money with yourself. I believe whatever u do with that money wont be good and there is every chance u will lose some of your hard earned money in the similar fashion. Remember as u sow so shall you reap.
Cheers,
Tutul

five hundred bucks where i come from is definately different - its a hell of a lot of money.
if i found that much money, i would probably hand it in to a police station etc as someone could be really missing it and it wouldnt be just a single note.
if i did find a single note i would keep it. my brother and my friend have both found $50 which is still a lot of money.
its interesting to see how different people react differently to finding money, depending on the amount.

If I did not see who dropped it and there was noone around then I would keep it. If I took it to the police they would not know who it belong to either.

If its in dollars, then it would mean a lot of money, right! then I would seek the owner of it by turning the money to proper authorities. Its not my money and I would not spend it knowing that the owner is suffering right now. I would rather spent a money of my own or buying foods with my hard earn money than buying a very expensive clothes with other peoples money.

Waw ... how lucky your friend .. apart from sin or not, that money could buy things as much as possible (depending on exchange rate). So, how much about 500 rupees, if we used Indonesian rupiah exchange rate, anyway? Huehehe ....

I would definitely keep it, but probably give it to my mom or something. Of course, i'd demand she split it with me since it only seems fair :]
