wow! you know how you hear about a movie over and over and think your going to not like it? it sounds like a waste of time, then you get talked into it
Id heard so many things about Slumdog millionaire. people said, its a musical, i usually hate musicals but then 2 of my favorite movies are musicals. they said its a love movie, to many of those come out that are just boring. Well i thought might as well so i had it ordered from netflix. I watched it today. thats why i've been MIA most of the day because it was so darn good. i laughed, i cried, and i cheered. i especially cried at the end, sad for one thing that happened, but happy crying for the other thing that happened. i dont want to ruin it for others that havent watched, possibley for the same reasons it took me this long. But im saying, watch it. i dont think you'll be disappointed. in fact, i told my son i think he'd like it and so, I WATCHED IT AGAIN with him
and he liked it. so, have you seen it? its on DVD now. have you ever been almost forced to watch a movie, then found out you really liked it or been really excited about one and find you hated it?
i really want to know.

ones like this lets us realise just how good we have it here. and it gives us insight to other cultures. but it also makes us wonder about things. like why they dont do something to take care of certain problems. it does you good at times to watch something like this.

Oh gosh my friend...if I try and watch a movie these days I'm right out of luck. I fall asleep!! It doesn't matter if I watch on the little portable dvd player next to my bed or the big screen in the lounge room, sitting up, or lying down...I fall asleep. Every now and then I can stay awake for a movie but generally not. The only way I get to watch one is if it's on while I sit in the dining room typing away here.
Yeah, I've been almost forced to watch a movie and hated it...cannot remember the names or anything...I would get up and go and do something else. My ex and I did not always appreciate each other's movie choices.

well hopefully you get to see it. maybe while typing here
but you dont want to be eating in a couple parts. especially a few mins into it where the little boy wants out of the toilet so bad he jumps down into the crap...yucky!!

I saw commercials and trailers for Kindergarten Cop and I thought it looked really stupid and I didn't think I wanted to see it at all. Then it was on one time and my kids were watching it and I saw most of it. It was really a cute movie. It actually had a nice storyline and wasn't as outright stupid as it looked.

I have watched Slumdog when it came to the theaters. I loved the movie when some said that it was boring. I loved the story, the music and most of all the fact that most of the crew in the movie were Indians. You see, I am an Indian.
Last week I went to watch 2012 with high expectations and apart from the visuals, was terribly disappointed with the movie. On the other hand, my friends forced me to watch Batman Begins which I had no interest in watching and was simply blown away. It was one of the best movies I have seen in the theaters.

I haven't seen it, but I honestly would like to see it. However, there have been several movies that I thought that I wouldn't like but that my husband wanted to watch and we will rent them and watch them after the children have gone to bed and I've found many movies that I honestly enjoy that way. I've been happy with almost everything that we've picked out. The one that was the biggest surprise to me was Borat. I'm not usually really big on slapstick type of comedies, but I'll admit that was one of the funniest movies that I've ever seen.

Getting off my duff and putting this one on my rental list...
There was one comedy that the husband and kids dragged me to that I wasn't so enthusiastic about, "Yes Man" I think it was. I didn't think it was totally fantastic, but it was funny enough to be worth seeing!

Slumdog millionaire is not a musical movie. It's a story of Mumbai's(Bombay)slum people who are very poor. A slum boy who became rich by joining a TV show named"Koun banega crorepati". That means "Who will be millionaire". This movie pictured the pity life of slum people of Bombay. Very interesting story.

I had the same experience with Slumdog Millionaire. I didn't see it for months and months, thinking that it was way too hyped up and I would be let down if I watched it. But one night there was a free outdoor show downtown, and I figured, why not, since it was free anyway (yes, I'm cheap!)
I ended up LOVING it! It totally lived up to the hype, which I was completely surprised by, and that made me think that it was an even better movie than had been described to me in the first place. I'm really happy I ended up watching it :)

The last Harry Potter movie was disappointing. I had expected it to be more exciting than the previous movies and it turned out a OK kind of movie. The same goes for GI Joe movie. It was the trailer which had me excited.

I have seen it. The film was magnificent. Well acted and beautiful cinematography. i didn't care for the "musical" element towards the end but I still enjoyed it overall. I already had experience with some Bollywood films and that film is probably a nice way to introduce people to those sort of films. I was a bit worried because media coverage talked about exploitation so i didn't really intend on seeing the film if children were being taken advantaged of in order for it to be filmed. Just like through netflix I viewed it and I felt that the media was wrong in its coverage of the film. i prefer to make decisions on my own and this film is worth buying on PPV or buying on DVD or Blu-Ray.

No I have not seen the movie Slumdog millionaire. I do remember seeing some preview on the TV but I have not gone to the movie theatre in years. If it does come on TV I might start watching it and if I like it I will watch all of it. No I have not been forced to watch a movie I watch what I want.
