Have you seen the "Smart Lids" on tv. Our local television station has a sector called "As Seen On TV". They sample different products that are on tv infomercials to see if they work.
Well, the Smart Lids seemed to work, that is, until they put them in the refrigerator. Whenever they are placed in the refrigerator they lose their vacuum seal.
So, they would work if you were just putting them on a bowl of chips in your cabinet. But, according to their research, they don't work in the frig.

Hi kykidd
Yes I have seen these informercials about the lids. I also saw the consumer report about them too. My sister did get some and it is true that they do lose their suction in the fridge. She was so disappointed that she called and tried to get a refund but no can do. She now just using them for candies in the cabinet.
I like watching those consumer reports on things. I always learn something.
Good discussion. Keep up the good work. Have a nice Thanksgiving day.
Keep smiling.

I know she was excited about getting the lids and then she found out that they work for what she wanted them to do. Oh well, I guess we all learn things from time to time...lol..
Keep smiling my friend..

Hi, k. Yes, I am sure that I have seen an infomercial about this product. There are many items that can be of use. Like the Debbie Meyer green bags for instance. Some of these products work and some of them don't. Trying them as a consumer would be the best thing to do when determining if the product will work out for your benefit. I like to sample a product before I buy it.
