Recently,I think more and more about going abroad. It has been a huge hope from my childhood. The foreign world and the languages seem so fresh to me! If there's a chance,I'll go and see the big world and everything I am eager to look at~
So,how do you think? If you want to go abroad, you'll study or travel?

I went abroad 5 times in my younger days. Starting from age 22 until age 34. I havent been abroad since then, as I had a young baby who is now 16 years.
I have visited England, Scotland, ireland, USA, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Phillipines, Singapore, Hungary and Austria.
I have promised my daughter that after she finishes year 12 and before she goes to University, I will take her on an overseas holiday. It might be safari tour in Africa, or to Eygpt and the middle east to see Ancient history, such as the pyramids.
What copuntries would you like to visit?

If I'm gonna be super rich, the very first thing to do on my list is travel. I want to visit every continent in this world. Explore new places, meet different people, discover their culture, taste their food, etc. Studying abroad would be great but you will enjoy more when you travel because you get to relax and enjoy without any pressure. If only I had the money...=(

Good luck to you. It will be the best form of education you will ever get. Leaving all the familiar, routine stuff behind in your own country and going to experience new cultures, languages, currencies, customs, landscapes, etc as well as all the people you meet along the way will stimulate the mind and make you feel much more alive

Hi! Me too.I also want to see the big world, to travel all the countries I want to see, and if I have the opportunity to make that, I will never be in to minds. There are so many places I want to visit- all the Asia countries, some in Europe, some in South America. And there is enough time to study. It's never too late to study and I can proof it. I have studied German at the university and I have a fellow-student, who was 63 years old. So there is always time for studing.

I prefer to study than just a travel, because it will give more benefit to me and make more friend with many people around the world. But sometime we may and need to travel to any place, because it will refreshed our mind and our body. Know the culture and learn some knowledge from the place you visited.

Traveling is one of my top hobbies. At age 18 I traveled around Europe by train. When I was 20 years old I spent just over one year traveling around the world. I went on a safari to Kenya and visited Israel when I was in my twenties. I loved going to New Zealand and the Pacific Islands when I was 29 years old. My last trip was to South Africa and I did that this earlier this year. I like to meet the local people, see the native wildlife and find out about the culture. I recommend studying, working or traveling abroad. Good luck with any traveling that you will do.

I have no plan to work abroad nor dream to live there. I just want to travel to Europe and discover this amazing continents, I wanna learn more about cultural and traditional differences in each country by doing research. Traveling abroad seems nice if it will be treated as just fun and enjoyment and not because I am seeking better opportunities. I am very much contented with my life in my country and prefer my lifestyle here more.

It's good idea to do research abroad instead of travel for fun! Going abroad should be regarded as an opportunity to have a better eye-opening exeperence. Thanks for your thought-provoking response!

Yes for sure.
Who wouldn't like to travel!
Whether it is for job or for leisure, everyone would like to fly.
The best place I would like to travel for job is the US and for leisure it would be the Swiss.

I am major in international relations last semester, many classmates went abroad, Japan, UK, USA and so on. I rather envy them that they would have a good change to receive futher education and experience different life.
If i have a chance to go abroad, I would like to study in a university. I think it must be the most exciting thing in my life.

I think there are many people who would like to travel abroad, including myself. The question of how will depend on whether I have money or not. The truth is I would like to do it all, travel for fun, for a job and to study. I often watch travel documentaries on TV and always wonder where the commentators get their funding because I think that I would like to do something like that. Otherwise I would like to go to certain places for a definite period to study their ways and write about it. Hopefully I will do so oneday.

I do wish I can have a travel abroad. In fact, there was a chance for me to go to the US last year, to attend the expo, that's my job. But I have problem with the visa. Seems that American visa is not so easy to get. The place I wan't to go is Western Europe. especially the Uk, France, Switherland and Netherland. I want to feel the scene and life of these countries.

Well recently I'm also thinking about this things. Because my university just offer a chance for us to go to America in the summer holiday . A lot of us really want to grasp this chance to go abroad ,however , most of us give it up since the whole expenses should be afforded by ourselves. At last we make a deal that we just can be the backpacker to travel around which can not only save us money ,but also relax ourself and enjoy the life.....
