Is it a good idea to use myspace to earn money?

I received an email from someone, she asked me to buy the myspace software to join in her community, she said it has many thousands of user registered in myspace, and we can use myspace to add many friends and send comments to those myspace friends to sell something, the main condition need to invest some money for her, mylotters, do you think is it a good idea to join the her community to sell something to mysapce friends?I'm thinking it is a scam.Thank you for your advices.
